7 lugares clásicos LGBT en Tel Aviv

Tel Aviv es la capital LGBT de Oriente Medio y una de las ciudades más abiertas del mundo. Es un oasis de tolerancia y mentalidad abierta y el hogar de muchos miembros de las comunidades de homosexuales de ambos sexos, bisexuales y transexuales de Israel.
Además cuenta con una amplia variedad de bares, cafés, eventos culturales e incluso playas de reconocida estirpe “gay friendly”.

Este año, la Semana del Orgullo Gay en Tel Aviv se realizará del 9 al 14 de junio. Sin embargo, los visitantes de todas las orientaciones, géneros y preferencias son bienvenidos en cualquier lugar y momento de la ciudad. Aquí te presentamos nuestra lista de los destinos y eventos más divertidos e inclusivos de la metrópoli.

1.Shpagat, Nahalat Binyamin 43.

El café y bar LGBT más conocido de Tel Aviv, Shpagat siempre ocupa el primer lugar en cualquier lista de los mejores lugares de la ciudad. Ubicado en la artística calle Nahalat Binyamin, en el centro, es un clásico para locales y extranjeros.

A la tarde, los visitantes pueden disfrutar de un café  y un bocadillo. Por las noches, de una bebida  espirituosa y fiestas hasta la madrugada. De forma regular, Shpagat acoge a DJ de varios géneros y  es muy popular entre los extranjeros. Vale la pena pasar a conocerlo.

2.TLVFest

TLVFest es un festival anual e internacional de cine que celebra los filmes LGBT de Israel y del mundo. En su 14 edición, el evento está diseñado para promover el pluralismo y la tolerancia en la sociedad israelí y para incentivar la creatividad de talentos independientes.

El festival, programado entre el 6 y el 15 de junio de 2019, es organizado por la Telematheque de Tel Aviv. El programa incluye proyecciones de largometrajes y cortometrajes, reuniones con cineastas locales e internacionales, mesas redondas y eventos especiales. Es un plan imperdible para los cinéfilos que buscan películas diferentes.

3.Café Albi. Hagdud Ha’Ivri 8.

Esta “cafetería activista” de corazón y espíritu LGBT es un clásico del sur de Tel Aviv. Abre sus puertas a todo el mundo y ofrece excelentes postres veganos en una de las áreas más atrevidas de la ciudad.

Todos son bienvenidos en el Café Albi: desde miembros de la comunidad LGBT, activistas sociales y políticos, exiliados africanos y personas sin hogar de la zona hasta trabajadores independientes que lo utilizan de oficina. Vale la pena darse una vuelta para apreciar una verdadera diversidad social y probar cualquiera de sus célebres pasteles.

4.Centro LGBTQ en el Gan Meir. Tchernichovsky 22

El Centro LGBTQ en el frondoso y céntrico parque Gan Meir es una referencia obligatoria para todas las actividades de la comunidad. No solo hay talleres regulares, conferencias y eventos sino también actividades como yoga, lecciones de arte y un coro “orgulloso”. Incluso cuenta con un club de adultos mayores.

Allí hay un punto de información para que los visitantes pueda aprender más sobre visitas turísticas, alojamiento y recomendaciones generales.

5.Playa Hilton. Hayarkon 205. Frente al hotel Hilton.

Clásico entre los clásicos, la playa Hilton es uno de los rincones más amigables para la comunidad LGBT de Tel Aviv. Ubicada frente al mítico hotel Hilton (de ahí el nombre), esta franja de arena recibe a miles de personas cada día y, como el resto de las playas de la ciudad, ofrece una experiencia divertida y segura. Además, allí es posible conocer gente de todo el mundo.

6.Marcha del orgullo LGBT

La ya célebre Marcha del Orgullo es una celebración fabulosa. Atrae a miles de visitantes extranjeros, miembros de la comunidad LGBT local y miles de israelíes que simplemente quieren celebrar esta proclamación de amor, diversidad y aceptación.

El desfile, que tendrá lugar el 14 de junio, serpentea por el centro de la ciudad hasta la playa. Es uno de los eventos más populares del año.

7.Fiestas itinerantes

No solo los bares y clubes LGBT organizan eventos para la comunidad. Algunos de los lugares más destacados de la vida nocturna de Tel Aviv celebran de forma regulare fiestas LGBT, especialmente los fines de semana.
