La policía de Israel detuvo este domingo con un cuchillo y sin permiso para ingreso al país a un palestino originario de Hebrón, de 17 años de edad, en la zona de Ein Yael, en Jerusalén.
En esa zona, cerca del zoológico bíblico de Jerusalén, Ori Ansbacher, de 19 años de edad, fue violada y asesinada por el palestino Arafat Irfaiya en febrero pasado, también originario de Hebrón y que fue atrapado mientras trataba de esconderse en una mezquita.
Los fiscales acusaron a Irfaiya, de 29 años, por violación y homicidio con un trasfondo de acto terrorista. Había entrado ilegalmente a Israel desde Cisjordania a principios de febrero y estaba armado con un cuchillo.
El día del asesinato, Ansbacher, quien era voluntaria en un centro juvenil en la capital, fue a dar un paseo por el bosque de Ein Yael, al sur de Jerusalén, y se topó con Irfaiya por casualidad. “Se encontró con Ansbacher y decidió matarla porque era judía. Él atacó a Ori con violenta crueldad, y aunque ella trató de luchar contra él, la dominó. Él la apuñaló con un cuchillo varias veces por todo su cuerpo, causando su muerte “, afirma la acusación.
