El INADI invita a «reflexionar» al periodista Salim Sad por la publicación antisemita

El Instituto Nacional contra la Discriminación, la Xenofobia y el Racismo (INADI), publicó un manifiesto en sus redes sociales con el título «Mensajes antisemitas en las redes sociales». Se refirió a la preocupación por la publicación de Salim Sad y que publicó Vis a Vis: Aberrante tuit antisemita de un periodista de la TV Pública: «Helicóptero Sicorsky S 76, de apellido judío, mata a Kobe Bryant» y otras declaraciones antisemitas de periodistas y que aparecieron en distintos medios. En el punto número uno del manifiesto invita a «reflexionar» a Salim Sad, mas allá de realizar una observación por su publicación. Además expresa que » La Judeofobia o el antisemitismo es la expresión de temor y odio hacia la comunidad judía, y la reproducción de dichos enunciados resultan un atraso cultural en la garantía de los derechos conquistados históricamente en la Argentina»

«Mensajes antisemitas en las redes sociales».

Ayer, Día Internacional de Conmemoración en Memoria de las Víctimas del Holocausto, en el Instituto Nacional contra la Discriminación, la Xenofobia y el Racismo (INADI) recibimos vía redes sociales la preocupación por la publicación que realizara el Sr. Salim Sad en Twitter con la imagen de un helicóptero junto a la frase “Helicóptero Sicorsky S76, de apellido judío, mata a Kobe Bryant” quien luego dio de baja la publicación y dijo que no la había realizado él.

Esto se suma a otras declaraciones antisemitas aparecidas en los medios o realizadas por periodistas en los últimos tiempos por lo que pedimos al Observatorio de la Discriminación en Internet del INADI que en el marco de la competencia establecida por la Disposición N°208/2012, con el objeto de preservar y advertir toda acción discriminatoria manifestada o acontecida en ámbitos de Internet, que afecte a personas o grupos de personas, y conforme a los principios normados por la Ley N° 23.592, emitiera una opinión.

Les trabajadores que integran el Observatorio manifestaron:

“La preocupación por parte del INADI acerca del contenido que circula por las redes sociales como Twitter, son los argumentos retóricos que crean una atmósfera de incitación al odio hacia grupos históricamente vulnerados. La Judeofobia o el antisemitismo es la expresión de temor y odio hacia la comunidad judía, y la reproducción de dichos enunciados resultan un atraso cultural en la garantía de los derechos conquistados históricamente en la Argentina.

Los símbolos construyen sentido, pensamiento, valores, idearios colectivos. Lo hacen cuando circulan a través de cualquier intercambio, y puntualmente a través de las TICs, que tienen una influencia decisiva, condicional y sin precedentes en la historia, en los hechos de la realidad. Pese a todos los avances que la sociedad argentina conquistó durante décadas, los usos de los símbolos contribuyen a visibilizar o invisibilizar situaciones y colectivos, así como a reproducir estereotipos.”

Y recomendaron el pase a la Coordinación de Prensa y Comunicación Estratégica para su comunicación institucional, con el objetivo de interpelar al medio citado para reproducir las observaciones sobre los derechos aquí especificados.

La nueva gestión del INADI recientemente asumida toma nota de las observaciones realizadas por el Observatorio y en consonancia con la planificación que está realizando decide:

1) Realizar una observación sobre la gravedad del comentario del periodista Salim Sad e invitarlo a reflexionar sobre el mismo.

2) Jerarquizar el trabajo de los Observatorios y dotarlos de herramientas para que puedan realizar un monitoreo más exhaustivo de los hechos de discriminación producidos en medios y redes sociales.

3) Realizar una ronda de trabajo con las distintas plataformas de Internet para intercambiar ideas respecto a cómo contribuir a tener un ecosistema libre de discriminación.
4) Ofrecer a todos los medios y periodistas que lo requieran asesoramiento y capacitación en buenas prácticas antidiscriminatorias.

5) Pedir que ante hechos discriminatorios tanto en redes como en cualquier otro ámbito se realice la denuncia correspondiente en el INADI para que podamos actuar y no quede todo en un intercambio virtual.

Es una clara demostración de la ignorancia e incapacidad que impera en las nuevas autoridades del INADI
