El presidente de la DAIA, Jorge Knoblovits, dialogó en exclusiva con Vis á Vis luego de que trascendiera en una nota en el diario La Nación que la DAIA estaba evaluando la posibilidad de retirar la querella contra Cristina Kirchner y otros ex funcionarios. «No está en nuestra agenda en estos momentos», afirmó el mandatario, y agregó: «Nada ni nadie nos condiciona»

Es un tema que no está en nuestra agenda en estos momentos. Y como no hemos resuelto ni discutido sobre eso, nos sorprendió mucho el artículo que salió publicado en La Nación. Nadie se comunicó conmigo ni me preguntó sobre el tema, y tampoco otros integrantes del Consejo Directivo de la DAIA fueron consultados.
En la DAIA tenemos temas importantes que estamos atendiendo, nuestro día a día es intenso y tenemos que tomar muchas decisiones, todos ellos sensibles e importantes. Y somos muy conscientes de eso, del rol que cumplimos y de la responsabilidad que tenemos para llevar adelante nuestra misión que es la de luchar contra el antisemitismo y todo mensaje de odio.
En la DAIA tenemos en agenda muchos temas que se discuten todos los días, todas las causas judiciales por hechos antisemitas, los asuntos de seguridad, educación, Shoá.
Por el prestigio y la masividad del diario La Nación, y por el prestigio del autor de la nota, se trata seguramente de distintos fragmentos de información que no se ajustaron al actual escenario pero que desmiento, como lo afirmé por la mañana en otro medio, que se trate de una operación. Pero la sola aparición de ese artículo le dio a la información publicada mucha trascendencia. Solo quiero decir con respecto al artículo que en este año y tres meses de gestión esta Comisión Directiva ha demostrado que no toma sus decisiones de acuerdo a quién gobierna nuestro país y que nada ni nadie nos condiciona.
Estos temas se tienen que resolver dentro de la comunidad judía y no en los medios nacionales. Mientras estamos discutiendo esto, no estamos hablando de antisemitismo ni de la causa AMIA. Solo hay que ver los comentarios publicados en la nota de La Nación, la gran mayoría son antisemitas. Sumémosle el episodio del jugador de Chicago, Arnaldo González, del domingo. Por eso digo que siempre ponemos el foco en el lugar equivocado. Estamos muchos más preocupados por otros temas que por este, sobre todo por la causa AMIA, que no avanza.
- ¿Se trató este tema en las reuniones con funcionarios del gobierno nacional? ¿Recibieron alguna solicitud al respecto?
Las reuniones que mantuvimos con importantes autoridades del gobierno fueron de presentación. Fuimos recibidos por el ministro de Desarrollo Social, Daniel Arroyo; de Seguridad, Sabina Frederic; de Cultura, Tristán Bauer; de Interior, Wado de Pedro; de Justicia, Marcela Losardo; y el secretario de Deportes, Matias Lammens. También nos ha recibido el jefe de Gobierno porteño, Horacio Rodríguez Larreta, y más de 10 intendentes de municipios bonaerenses.
Esto es lo que hace la DAIA cada vez que asumen nuevas autoridades tanto a nivel nacional, provincial o municipal. La DAIA, como institución central y representativa de la comunidad judía, tiene la obligación de relacionarse con todos los actores políticos del país. Es imprescindible para llevar adelante nuestra misión y en ninguna reunión tuvimos ninguna solicitud.
