Un vuelo cargado de emoción, canciones y alegría llegó a Israel este lunes donde los olim argentinos y brasileros fueron recibidos por las autoridades de la Agencia Judía en Israel. «Evenu Shalom Aleijem» y «Am Israel Jai» fueron algunas de las canciones que animaron el vuelo mientras que los pasajeros acompañaban con aplausos.
Los casi 80 olim argentinos despegaron desde Ezeiza y realizaron una escala en San Pablo, donde olim brasileros se sumaron a la comitiva. Luego de un breve paso por Madrid, el avión llegó al Aeropuerto Ben Gurión el lunes 1 de marzo al mediodía.
Según el protocolo determinado por el Gobierno de Israel, todos los que lleguen en el vuelo deberán permanecer durante 10 días cumpliendo cuarentena en un hotel asignado por el Estado antes de comenzar con sus respectivos programas de absorción.

Entre los meses de enero y diciembre de 2020, 566 olim argentinos concretaron su Aliá.Un hecho importante para destacar es que, a pesar de las restricciones y protocolos especiales instalados tanto en Argentina como en Israel durante diferentes momentos del año, 466 de estos olim partieron durante la cuarentena, en un esfuerzo que requirió 12 vuelos especiales y una rápida adaptación a los nuevos protocolos.
A pesar de lo dicho anteriormente, la cantidad de olim se incrementó en un 26% en relación a 2019.
