Una vez más, Israel quedó entre los países más felices del mundo según el prestigioso ranking elaborado para las Naciones Unidas por un grupo de expertos independientes del World Happiness Report

Según el informe, Israel aparece en el puesto número 11 del ranking de felicidad. Basado en las encuestas del 2020 en comparación con las del periodo 2017-2019, y en el duodécimo para el periodo 2018-2020.

Se trata de un interesante salto para el país. Había quedado en el decimotercer puesto en el reporte difundido en el 2019 y en el lugar número catorce en el informe del año pasado.

Por cuarto año consecutivo, Finlandia quedó en el primer lugar del ranking, seguida por Islandia, Dinamarca, Suiza y Holanda. El top ten lo completan Suecia, Alemania, Noruega, Nueva Zelanda y Austria.

El Informe de la Felicidad, presentado por primera vez en el 2012, es una encuesta anual realizada para la Red de Soluciones para el Desarrollo Sostenible de la ONU. Se realiza en base a varios bancos de datos, pero principalmente en aquellos elaborados por el Gallup World Poll.

Al presentar esta semana el reporte 2021, los responsables del Informe sobre la felicidad admitieron que, este año, debieron enfrentarse al «desafío único» de «tratar de comprender qué efecto ha tenido la pandemia de coronavirus en el bienestar subjetivo y viceversa».

Entre los parámetros que tienen en cuenta los expertos para preparar la lista se incluyen el ingreso per cápita a la expectativa de vida. También por la generosidad de los habitantes y la presencia (o ausencia) de corrupción en los ambientes políticos y civiles según Israel Económico
