Mucho dolor causó el fallecimiento de Ariel Grun Z’L, un dirigente comunitario joven pero de una extensa trayectoria. Actualmente era vicepresidente 2do de la agrupación Plural Jai y tenía tan solo 49 años. Falleció por una enfermedad que se le declaró hace menos de dos años y que no pudo superar.
Muchos lo definen como un verdadero azkan, un dirigente que trabajó por el bien de la comunidad. Aguerrido, luchador e impulsivo. Mantuvo muchos encuentros y desencuentros con otros dirigentes pero siempre sabiendo que la mirada era hacia el mismo horizonte: una comunidad unida. Fue militante del radicalismo, vocal de la DAIA y de la Organización Sionista Argentina. También era parte de la agrupación UNA AMIA.

Plurai Jai emitió un comunicado despidiéndolo:
«Hoy es un día muy triste para todos nosotros en Plural JAI.
Hoy nos dejó nuestro muy querido Ariel Grun Z”L.
Se fue físicamente de entre nosotros, pero nos dejó como legado toda su enorme energía desde la fundación misma de Plural JAI, enorme trabajo como grande fue Ari.
Su calidad y calidez humana, junto a su enorme capacidad como azkan comunitario, político y social, nos permitió compartir cada minuto de nuestro trabajo voluntario con su energía, alegría, broncas y toda la lucha por lograr una comunidad Plural, Democrática e Inclusiva, dando todas las peleas que hubo y habrá que dar.
Se nos fue físicamente, pero nos deja un gran legado para seguir con la bandera, tomar el palo y seguir su trabajo para la comunidad como una luz que ilumine nuestro camino.
Y lo llevaremos en el corazón de cada uno de nosotros, y como una energía invisible hasta alcanzar lo que tanto soñamos, pensamos, diseñamos, comunicamos y trabajamos juntos.
