Tristeza en la despedida de Ariel Grun Z’L

Este domingo se realizó la ceremonia de despedida a Ariel Grun Z’L, quien falleció el último viernes. Además de su familia y amigos, también se acercaron a la avenida Rivadavia 10661 de esta capital (es la casa velatoria de la AMIA que actualmente reemplaza a la de la calle Loyola, por refacciones), todos sus compañeros de Plural Jai, la agrupación en la cual Grun era vicepresidente segundo. Otros dirigentes comunitarios también acompañaron a su familia en este doloroso momento.

Con los protocolos correspondientes por las restricciones impuestas por la pandemia, en la puerta de la Cochería, el Rabino Marcelo Bater, de la Comunidad Dor Jadash, dirigió las palabras de despedida. Y lo definió así: «Hoy despedimos a un mentsch, a una persona que no transaba en sus ideales y principios, un enamorado de la política argentina y comunitaria. Solamente él iba a poder lograr lo que tanto luchaba: una comunidad pluralista donde todos sean parte. Y la foto lo demuestra, un rabino ortodoxo junto a uno conservador despidiendo a un dirigente, hijo, hermano, esposo y padre.

El Rabino ortodoxo, a quién se refería Bater era Eliahu Hamra, presidente del Vaad Hakehilot y Secretario General del Bloque Unido Religioso (BUR), quién también expresó unas sentidas palabras. Cuando se efectuaba la campaña electoral rumbo a las elecciones (postergadas) de la AMIA, Grun y Hamra estaban en veredas opuestas. Y lo recordó en la despedida de la siguiente manera: «Algo que podemos aprender de Ariel, es que nunca perdió su fe y su deseo de vivir, aún en las difíciles circunstancias por las que atravesó. Precisamente hace un par de semanas hablando con él percibí ese fuerte optimismo. Aquí nos encontramos todos juntos. Una vez más vemos que la comunidad es una sola y unida. Podemos tener diferencias y frecuentemente es sano, pero eso no quita que la comunidad judía esté fuertemente mancomunada»

Su mujer Alina leyó el Kadish de duelo, ante la emoción de los presentes. Luego, en el Cementerio de La Tablada también el Rabino Bater fue quien acompañó espiritualmente la despedida de sus restos.
