Desde 1948, más de 3.5 millones de judíos han emigrado a Israel con el anhelo de construir un futuro mejor. El Estado judío ha recibido a todos y cada uno con los brazos abiertos velando por su absorción e integración.

Este proceso no se detiene. En la actualidad, un promedio de 30.000 nuevos inmigrantes llegan a Israel cada año procedentes de todas partes del mundo.

Una de esas nuevas inmigrantes es Alice, de Colombia: “Vengo de un hogar judío, crecimos alrededor de la familia celebrando todas las fiestas y tradiciones judías. Para nosotros Israel es nuestro hogar, fue transmitido así en nuestra casa. Mi mamá trabajaba no solamente por Colombia sino también por Israel”.

 “Hoy en día Bogotá no es una ciudad tan segura y a uno le da un poco de miedo salir a la calle” – explica sobre su decisión de emigrar. Y cuenta: “El último día en Colombia no fue un día fácil, empacar las últimas cosas, dejar el departamento… Fue difícil pero a la vez muy emocionante. Y el minuto en el que aterrizamos en Israel fue lo más conmovedor del mundo, cuando vimos el aviso grande que decía “Olim bienvenidos” fue la emoción más grande. Agradezco ser beneficiada de poder llegar a Israel gracias a la ayuda de Keren Hayesod”

La situación en Argentina
