El director del Centro Ana Frank Argentina, Héctor Shalom, repudió fuertemente el uso de la imagen de Ana Frank en Showmatch: La Academia (El Trece)  en un video de la canción «Yo no soy esa mujer» de Paulina Rubio, y afirmó que «El Holocausto y ninguna muerte pueden ser utilizados para entretener«.

Este viernes 23 de julio, Sofía Jujuy Jiménez cantó «Yo no soy esa mujer», de Paulina Rubio, en el nuevo desafío de La Academia. De fondo proyectaron fotos y una de los rostros fue el de Ana Frank, y los usuarios de Twitter no lo perdonaron. Pero en las últimas horas, quien respondió de manera contundente fue el Representante de la Anne Frank House en Argentina, Uruguay y Paraguay.

A través de la cuenta del Centro Ana Frank en Twitter, manifestaron: «Usar la imagen de Ana Frank como fondo de una canción de una mujer que se rehúsa a quedarse en la casa es llevar la banalización del Holocausto hasta su expresión más extrema. Es un acto de humillación a las millones de víctimas. A los sobrevivientes y a toda persona que elija la dignidad humana como opción de vida«, sentencia el texto.

«Ana Frank no se quedó en su casa porque fue una mujer sometida sino que tuvo que esconderse para escapar de la persecución de la maquinaria nazi. En su encierro tuvo el más significativo acto de resistencia que fue escribir un diario porque seguía confiando en la ‘bondad interna de los hombres’. La publicación de su libro se transformó en un emblema para que el mundo entero sepa lo que fue lo peor de la historia de la humanidad y generar conciencia para ‘Nunca Más'», le explicó a Marcelo Tinelli, LaFlia, Showmatch y toda persona que lea el descargo.

«Ana Frank es una persona entre el millón y medio de niños asesinados. Entre los seis millones de judíos asesinados, entre los más de diez millones de personas asesinadas por su sola condición. Incluyendo discapacitados, homosexuales, Testigos de Jehová, afrodescendientes, gitanos y opositores políticos», continuó.

En el hilo, Héctor Shalom aseguran que «Quienes produjeron este espectáculo aberrante expresan su absoluta incapacidad de defender la dignidad de lo humano, la dignidad de la mujer y su desconexión con las víctimas de cualquier genocidio«. «Lo preocupante es la naturalización del horror para fines de entretenimiento y especulación comercial. El Holocausto y ninguna muerte pueden ser utilizados para entretener», sostuvo.

Por último, explicó que «En el Centro Ana Frank Argentina nos ocupamos de educar en la memoria del Holocausto. De otros genocidios y del Terrorismo de Estado con el objetivo de construir una sociedad democrática, inclusiva y libre. Es por esto que invitamos a toda la producción del programa Showmatch y a todos los involucrados en el aberrante hecho a visitar el Museo Ana Frank. Conocer su legado su impacto en millones de jóvenes del país y comprender cuánto daño han producido».

Qué pasó con la imagen de Ana Frank en Showmatch: La Academia

Para graficar la canción «Yo no soy esa mujer», que cantó Jujuy Jiménez, pusieron una foto de la niña cuya historia es un símbolo del Holocausto, y en la red destrozaron a la producción de LaFlia.

«Yo no soy esa mujer, que no sale de casa, y que pone a tus pies lo mejor de su alma. No me convertiré, en el eco de tu voz en un rincón. Yo no soy esa mujer», reza parte de la letra de la mexicana Paulina Rubio que interpretó Jujuy Jiménez. De fondo, se podía ver un video en donde aparecían Gabriela Sabatini, Oprah Winfrey, la madre María Teresa de Calcuta, Eva Duarte de Peró, María Elena Walsh y Ninín Marshall, entre otras.

Sin embargo, el rostro que más impactó y causó indignación fue el de Ana Frank –Annelies Marie Frank su nombre real-, cuya historia es un símbolo del Holocausto y el diario que escribió durante su encierro, uno de los libros más difundidos de todos los tiempos. Y fue justamente escuchar «Yo no soy esa mujer que no sale de casa» lo que generó el repudio inmediato y absoluto de todos los usuarios de Twitter, quienes aseguraron que no había posibilidad de que la imagen de Ana fuera puesta «sin querer».

¿Cuánto tiempo se ocultó Ana Frank?

Ana Frank -una niña alemana con ascendencia judía- se escondió en 1942 junto a su familia durante la ocupación de los Países Bajos. Hasta que en 1944 los nazis descubrieron ese anexo secreto del 263 de la calle Prinsengrach de Amsterdam, donde se encontraban. El diario de Ana es una de las crónicas más poderosas sobre el horror del nazismo que da igual el tiempo que tenga, porque siempre será un testimonio para recordarnos que lo que le ocurrió a ella «nunca debe volver a sucederle a nadie».

Aunque siempre se dijo que había fallecido el 15 de abril de 1945, gracias a una investigación realizada por la Casa-Museo de Amsterdam, se desveló que Ana, que tenía 15 años de edad, murió de tifus en febrero de ese mismo año, en el campo de concentración de Bergen-Belsen, Alemania, junto a su hermana Margot.
