El ministro de Salud porteño. Fernán Quirós, confirmó este domingo los tres casos de la variante Delta en el Colegio ORT de Belgrano. Son aquellos que fueron testeados por un brote de coronavirus en la escuela.
«En cuanto al cuadro epidemiologico hemos tenido en la comunidad educativa un número de personas con PCR positivo. Tres de ellas con variante Delta», indicó el funcionario.
Quirós también confirmó que se trata de chicos del primario. También remarcó que ya están «dialogando con familia» y «trabajando con autoridades de la escuela para implementar las medidas».

Además, adelantó que «a lo largo del día de hoy estamos esperando otros PCR en el Malbran y Hospital de Niños» Ricardo Gutiérrez.
El texto difundido por el Malbrán este sábado señala que «ante las versiones periodísticas de un posible brote por COVID-19 en un colegio de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires, el Consorcio PAIS y el Instituto Malbrán informan que se han notificado al momento, al Sistema Nacional de Vigilancia de la Salud, tres casos confirmados de variante Delta».
Actualmente, se encuentra en proceso la secuenciación de los genomas completos. Son para realizar los estudios evolutivos que permitirán confirmar si todos los casos pertenecen al mismo brote, dijeron fuentes de la investigación a Télam.
Los equipos de salud de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires realizan la investigación epidemiológica para determinar las cadenas de transmisión y los controles de brote pertinentes.
43 alumnos y una docente contagiados
Además del grupo de 43 alumnos contagiados, el colegio también informó a los padres que una docente de Educación Física, también fue confirmada con coronavirus. La misma da clases en los niveles primario y secundario. Esto obligará a aislar a un número no precisado de alumnos de los dos niveles a partir de la semana próxima.
Las autoridades del Colegio ORT, con sede en el barrio porteño de Belgrano, informaron este viernes que se detectaron 43 casos positivos de coronavirus en el establecimiento, por lo que fueron aisladas varias burbujas del alumnado.
«Estimadas familias: Nos ponemos en contacto para informarles que se han detectado 43 casos positivos de coronavirus entre nuestros alumnos y alumnas de la sede Belgrano -nivel primario-, cuyas burbujas se encuentran aisladas a partir de haberse confirmado los resultados», comunicaron las autoridades a los padres del establecimiento a través de un correo electrónico de circulación general.
