El ejercicio físico no sólo modifica para bien el perfil lipídico, produciendo una disminución del colesterol total, el colesterol LDL (conocido como “malo”) y de los triglicéridos; sino que también produce un aumento del colesterol HDL (conocido como “bueno”) lo que evita el depósito de colesterol en las arterias coronarias.
