Luego de que Vis á Vis publicara el viernes pasado el tuit de la nueva ministra de cultura de Chile, Julieta Brodsky, sobre que «Israel es un estado genocida», las redes sociales, medios nacionales y personalidades internacionales reflejaron el repudio a esa declaración. La misma la realizó en Mayo del 2021 durante el conflicto entre Israel y la Organización Terrorista Hamás.
En el twitter de Vis á Vis solamente hubo casi mil interacciones. Los comentarios de repudio fueron casi unánimes. También en los grupos de Facebook del mismo medio el rechazo fue masivo.
Por su parte, el medio argentino Infobae también se hizo eco: «Quién es Julieta Brodsky, la ministra de Cultura elegida por Boric que atacó a Israel por Twitter».
También la periodista y escritora catalana Pilar Rahola, también repudió «Pobre Chile y pobre ministra que basa sus análisis en los panfletos, consignas y mentiras. Banalizando ideologías del mal. Da mucha fatiga»

Brodsky integra el gabinete del presidente electo de Chile, Gabriel Boric, quienes asumirán la conducción del país trasandino el próximo 11 de marzo.
Además, el ahora mandatario chileno no tuvo problemas en criticar a la comunidad judía local, cuando en Rosh Hashana el año 2019, recibió de regalo un tarro de miel con el saludo de Shana Tova, y twitteó “muy lindo gesto, pero devuélvanles los territorios ilegalmente ocupados a los palestinos”.
Estos son algunos de los miles de tuits y comentarios que generó la declaración de la nueva ministra chilena.
