El KKL Argentina inauguró el Arboreto de las Naciones

Con motivo de la celebración de “Tu Bishvat” y con la presencia de distinguidas personalidades, el Lunes 24 de Enero el Keren Kayemet LeIsrael inauguró el Arboreto de las naciones en la Ciudad de Buenos Aires.

El proyecto del Arboreto de las Naciones en la Plaza Israel comenzó con la plantación de 4 árboles. Los mismos representan al Estado de Israel, a la Ciudad de Buenos Aires (Ciudad huésped del arboreto), el Reino de Marruecos y a los Emiratos Árabes Unidos. En representación de cada una de las naciones participaron la Sra. Galit Ronen, el ministro Jorge Macri, la Sra. Imane Dryef, Ministra Consejera y Vice jefa de Misión de la Embajada del Reino de Marruecos y Hussain Ali Alnaqbi, Encargado de Negocios de la Embajada de los Emiratos Árabes Unidos respectivamente. Cada mes se irán sumando nuevos árboles que representarán a más naciones representadas en nuestro país. También se hicieron presentes Demián Stratievsky, presidente de la Organización Sionista Argentina, Gustavo Michanie (DAIA), Ariel Blufstein ( coordinador diplomacia DAIA), Roxana Sohn (FEJA) y Amital Perry (Embajada de Israel) entre otros invitados.

“Tu Bishvat”, el día 15 del mes de Shvat en el calendario hebreo, también es conocido como el “Año nuevo de los árboles”. Es una celebración que nos invita a reflexionar sobre nuestro vínculo con la tierra y realizar acciones para hacer de éste un mundo mejor. Tu Bishvat es conciencia de vida y de creación. Nos invita a crear nuevos pactos con la tierra, plantando raíces, árboles, vida.

A lo largo de sus 120 años de historia, el KKL dedicó sus esfuerzos a construir la Tierra de Israel, donde ha plantado más de 245 millones de árboles. Es sin lugar a dudas una de las ONG más grandes del planeta, y comparte sus conocimientos en forestación, cuidado del agua e innovación con todo el mundo.

Por parte del KKL, el Presidente Daniel Lew, expresó : “Hace poco más de un año, se firmaba el tratado de normalización de relaciones denominado “El Pacto de Abraham” y que mejor que inaugurar este arboreto con los representantes diplomáticos de los países que lo representan. Esperamos que, así como crecen los árboles y dan frutos, también lo hagan sus relaciones entre naciones.”

A su vez, Danny Lew hizo referencia a que este año estamos transitando el 30° aniversario del Atentado a la Embajada del Estado de Israel. Lo expresó con un pedido de justicia y de memoria.

Finalizó su discurso agradeciendo a cada uno de los participantes del acto; embajadores de las naciones, al Gobierno de la Ciudad, a los representantes de la comuna 14, a los representantes de APrA, a la Dirección general de Arbolado, AySA y a todos los representantes de las instituciones de la comunidad judía que los acompañaron en esta plantación.

Por su parte, Jorge Macri también se dirigió al público presente: “Es un honor para la Ciudad de Buenos Aires ser anfitriona de esta iniciativa que nos permite tender puentes, acortar distancias y estar unidos para cuidar el mundo en el que vivimos y dejar un lugar mejor a las próximas generaciones. Queremos destacar especialmente la tarea que lleva adelante KKL, sosteniendo desde hace ya 120 años un firme compromiso con el medio ambiente e impulsándonos a todos a ser parte de ese enorme desafío”

Plantar un árbol es un acto de esperanza.

Que este Tu Bishvat nos encuentre recordando que el hombre es como un árbol, cada uno puede dar frutos y tiene raíces; el amor de la familia, las tradiciones.

Cuidemos nuestro mundo, nuestra tierra, devolviéndole algo de la luz que ella nos entrega cada día.

Al finalizar el evento el presidente de KKL, Danny Lew, dialogó en exclusiva con Vis á Vis sobre lo que significa para él este primer acto oficial como presidente: «Es emocionante por muchas razones. Por un lado, por ser mi primer primer acto oficial. Obviamente tiene su carga emocional, pero sobretodo estar festejando TuBishvat en la Plaza de Israel, un lugar tan representativo acá en Buenos Aires. Con un proyecto que tiene varias simbologías, que decidimos iniciarlo en coincidencia con el año nuevo de los árboles. Donde queremos dejar un legado en la Ciudad de Buenos Aires y un legado de hermandad entre las naciones. De ahí la idea de hacer este Arboreto de las Naciones hoy plantando con los embajadores o representantes diplomáticos de los países miembros del Pacto de Abraham».

Además, lo consultamos sobre los proyectos del KKL para este 2022 y Lew anticipó: Es mucho y bueno lo que viene. El inicio de clases. Estamos trabajando con la Federación de Escuelas Judías de la Argentina. Hoy nos está acompañando Roxana Sohn. Eso es lo inminente. Queremos acompañar a las escuelas. Queremos acompañar a los chicos cuando vuelvan. Obviamente estaremos en todas las escuelas con el Plan Guesher. Este plan donde nos permite involucrarnos dentro de la currícula oficial que se da en tercer y cuarto grado.

También agregó: En este momento hay proyectos activos en seis provincias. Nosotros queremos que en cada provincia, además de involucramos en educación, que en cada provincia haya una plaza Estado de Israel. Si ya existe estamos trabajando para arreglarla, para que esté mejor. Dónde no existe que se cree, donde está mal el nombre que se corrija y que cada ciudad realmente tenga como legado una plaza de Israel donde podamos hacer plantaciones como esta. Donde podamos festejar Iom Haatzmaut, donde por ahí podamos recordar a fin de año el magnicidio al Primer Ministro Rabin. Que realmente sea un lugar de encuentro no solo en la Comunidad Judía de cada lugar sino también con la sociedad en general».
