Organizado por el Centro Ana Frank, finalizó el primer Seminario Internacional: “Los desafíos de la comunicación frente a los discursos de odio. Distorsión del Holocausto y la memoria reciente, y su utilización en los discursos de odio. Recomendaciones y estrategias para contrarrestarlos”, que concluyó en Bariloche.
“Fueron jornadas muy intensas y ricas para seguir trabajando”, expresó Héctor Shalom, director del Centro Ana Frank.
Más de 220 asistentes de manera presencial y por streaming. 2 jornadas, 5 paneles con distintas temáticas alusivas, 14 disertantes, un trabajo colectivo con propuestas para la conformación de una guía y un manual de recomendaciones para evitar los discursos de odio, es el resultado que se lleva la entidad organizadora para replicar esta exitosa experiencia en San Juan, San Miguel de Tucumán y Asunción del Paraguay, próximas sedes del seminario.

El papel de los medios de comunicación, el testimonio de vida, y las estrategias para pensar cómo luchar contra los discursos de odio. Esos fueron los temas que convocaron a la primera jornada con exposiciones a cargo de Miriam Lewin, Bernarda Llorente, Mónica Dawidowicz; Victoria Montenegro, Sergio Torres, Daniel Feierstein, Cecilia Meirovich y Daniel Rafecas.

En la segunda jornada fueron protagonistas Marisa Braylan, Andrea Copani y Ariel Gelblung. Se cerró con una mesa donde la palabra mapuche, a través de su representante Ernesto Antillanca se hizo presente junto a Walter Del Río y nuevamente Daniel Feierstein.
Hubo un acuerdo general en destacar los espacios de trabajo grupales para que la palabra pudiera circular entre los presentes. Además que los conceptos vertidos sobre el escenario continuaran interpelando e intercambiando opiniones entre los y las asistentes.
La última actividad fue recopilar propuestas para generar una guía de recomendaciones para una cobertura y tratamiento mediático de discursos de odio, distorsión y negación del Holocausto y otros genocidios. Un trabajo que reflejó la necesidad de estos espacios para hablar y pensar en conjunto sobre la temática convocante.
Los seminarios son organizados por el Centro Ana Frank Argentina para América Latina. En el marco de la Alianza Internacional para la Memoria del Holocausto (IHRA).
Cuenta con el apoyo institucional del Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores, Comercio Internacional y Culto, el Ministerio de Educación de la Nación, la Secretaría de Derechos Humanos del Ministerio de Justicia y Derechos Humanos, la Defensoría del Público de la Nación, la Agencia Nacional de Noticias Télam, el Museo del Holocausto de Buenos Aires y, localmente, el Municipio de San Carlos de Bariloche.
