El miércoles 2 de noviembre, HBO estrenará “A Tree of Life”, el documental sobre el tiroteo en la sinagoga Tree of Life (Árbol de la Vida, en español) donde 11 personas fueron asesinadas.
Cuatro años después del ataque en Pittsburgh (Estados Unidos), la directora del film, Trish Adlesic, lanzará la muestra.
Los artistas Michael Keaton y Billy Porter y el empresario judío Mark Cuban apoyaron el documental y participaron en la producción.
Por su parte, la cantante judía, Idina Menzel compuso una canción para la película.
Sobre el atentado, la directora de “A Tree of Life”, expresó: “Fue un ataque desgarrador y horrible como este trae muchos pensamientos diferentes sobre cuáles son las repercusiones totales”.
“Creo que comenzó como una historia judía, se convirtió en una historia de Pittsburgh y ahora es una historia universal”, sentenció.
La directora aseguró que la película fue “moldeada a lo que querían los sobrevivientes”.
El atentado ocurrió el 27 de octubre de 2018 cuando un supremacista blanco ingresó al recinto con cuatro armas y comenzó a disparar.
Previo a eso, el autor de la matanza, Robert Bowers, expresó :”Todos los judíos deben morir”. Sus víctimas tenían entre 54 y 97 años. Así lo informó Israel National News.
