Reflexion del seminarista del Centro Hebreo Ioná, Brian Menes Wainstein: Hoy Parashá Jola Hamoed Pesaj
Estamos transitando la festividad de Pesaj y, al hacerlo, nos vienen a la mente muchísimas historias. Una de las más lindas de este jag es aquella que refiere al mismísimo momento en que se produce el cruce del Iam Suf, el Mar Rojo. La inmensidad del mar «comía» al Pueblo de Israel.
Dice el midrash que cuando esto sucedía, una parte del pueblo lloraba mientras que la otra, se puso a rezar.

Sin embargo, el mar no se abrió hasta que Najshón dio el primer paso y comenzó a caminar en el mar. Allí es cuando comenzó el milagro ya que el mar se abrió para que cruce el pueblo.
Pesaj es el tiempo de la Libertad. En esta festividad se nos llama a que podamos liberarnos de aquellos mares que tenemos adentro de nosotros mismos.
Pero en la sabiduría de nuestra tradición encontramos que la única forma de atravesar ese mar es dando el primer paso y enfrentando el conflicto que implica.
Es el deseo de todos y todas quienes formamos parte de la Comunidad del Centro Hebreo Ioná que en este tiempo de Pesaj podamos aprender de Najshón y que nos pongamos a caminar, animándonos a dar el primer paso hacia nuestra propia Tierra Prometida.
