Santino Menin, de Náutico Hacoaj, se consagró campeón sudamericano de remo Sub23 en Chile

El remero de Hacoaj Santino Menin se consagró Campeón Sudamericano Sub 23 en el Doble Par peso ligero. Lo hizo junto a Rodrigo Enriquez del Buenos Aires Rowing Club.

Santino, que en 2021 fue galardonado como Mejor Deportista de Hacoaj, se suma a la muy extensa lista de remeros nacidos y formados en esa Institución que lograron el oro en competencias internacionales, vistiendo la camiseta argentina.

Es integrante de tercera generación de socios de Hacoaj. Santino comenzó a remar en la Escuela de Remo y Canotaje a los siete años. En 2017 tuvo sus primeras experiencias de alta competencia, como integrante del equipo de Remo Promocional. Desde entonces, su carrera fue en franco ascenso, hasta alcanzar una de sus principales metas: integrar la Selección Nacional. De hecho, esta es la segunda vez que Santino consigue el oro sudamericano. La primera fue en 2021, en Paraguay.

Impulsado por el lema que adoptó: “Mejor que ayer y peor que mañana” este joven remero, que también es egresado de la Escuela ORT, asegura que “siempre voy a dejar el alma, salga primero o último”. No cabe dudas de que seguiremos teniendo muchas buenas noticias de parte suya.
