AMIA, la Agencia Judía para Israel, ITC y JReady lanzarán, de manera conjunta, un nuevo sistema de gestión de emergencias, que brindará asistencia psico-social directa, inmediata y organizada a todas las personas, en el marco de la comunidad judía, que se vean afectadas por situaciones de gravedad o hechos que puedan provocar efectos traumáticos.

El proyecto se denominará “Hosen”, término hebreo que significa “resiliencia”. Esto se debe a que las acciones de asistencia, apoyo, acompañamiento y reducción del impacto provocado por la emergencia, tanto a nivel individual como grupal, serán las tareas primordiales de esta nueva iniciativa comunitaria.

Los responsables del proyecto indicaron que el sistema “Hosen” estará conformado por diferentes equipos de voluntarios, que tendrán tareas y responsabilidades debidamente asignadas para diseñar e implementar las respuestas adecuadas para cada situación en la que deberán intervenir.

Antes del lanzamiento formal del proyecto, las entidades responsables del mismo organizaron un encuentro de capacitación, que se realizará del martes 10 al viernes 14 de julio, en Buenos Aires. Las jornadas estarán a cargo de expertos israelíes, quienes compartirán sus conocimientos y experiencia para comenzar la formación y selección de las personas que integren los equipos en nuestro país.
