Yulia Chernoy obtuvo una nueva medalla para Israel en el campeonato mundial de tiro que se realiza en Lima, Perú. En esta oportunidad logró la de bronce en una distancia de 50 metros en modalidad boca abajo.
En el mismo certamen, la deportista obtuvo la medalla de oro en tiro con carabina a 10 metros.
Es para destacar que Chernoy quedó quinta en las eliminatorias para entrar al mundial, del que participan 260 tiradores y tiradoras.
La israelí ya tiene asegurado su pasaporte para los Juegos Olímpicos de París 2024.
Mundial de tiro y deportes en crecimiento
El taekwondista paralímpico israelí, Assaf Yassur, se consagró campeón del mundo tras vencer 13-8 a Xiang Wen Xiao de Taiwán. El certamen se disputó en México.
Se trata del segundo mundial consecutivo que logró ganar el deportista de élite de tan solo 21 años. El logro que obtuvo en 2021 fue tras vencer a Ali Can Özkan.
Por otro lado, el remero israelí, Daniel Shmulik, logró la clasificación a los Juegos Paralímpicos 2024 de París, tras una gran actuación en el Campeonato Mundial.
El deportista terminó en el tercer lugar del certamen, luego de caer en las semifinales. Marcó un tiempo de 9´:35”.04.
