A las mismas las recibieron organizaciones judías en todo el país, junto con el aumento significativo de los incidentes de odio que la ADL está rastreando”, dijo Brinner.
En los últimos años, los legisladores trabajaron para aumentar la cantidad de subvenciones disponibles para el “endurecimiento de objetivos” de sinagogas y organizaciones judías para hacerlas menos vulnerables.
Siegel dijo que B’nai Tikvah ya recibió dos subvenciones de este tipo y solicitó otras dos.
“Nuestra prioridad más importante en este momento es garantizar que nuestra comunidad esté segura”, dijo.
