A poco de entrar al Congreso de la Nación para abrir el período de sesiones ordinarias, el presidente Javier Milei recibió un colgante por parte de la diputada de Juntos por el Cambio (JxC), Sabrina Ajmechet. El presente, que era una chapita pidiendo por la liberación de los secuestrados, generó ataques antisemitas en las redes sociales.
«Lo que aquí se ve es una diputada NACIONAL (Ajmechet) regalando al presidente una medallita que dice «BRING THEM HOME» («Traiganlos a casa») en donde HOME es Israel, no Argentina. La elección del momento es cuanto menos torpe», escribió Ernesto Resnik.
En respuesta a esto, la funcionaria señaló: «El antisemitismo está entre nosotros y no discrimina entre judios o católicos. Resnik es judio y antisemita, lo dejó claro al protestar por mi pedido al presidente para que ayudemos todos a que los secuestrados vuelvan a sus casas, secuestrados entre los que también hay argentinos».
Poco después del discurso fue la propia legisladora, muy cercana a Patricia Bullrich, quien aclaró de qué se trataba. “Me preguntan qué le di al presidente Javier Milei cuando entró al Congreso Nacional”, consignó Ajmechet. Tras lo que agregó: “Le entregué la chapita que nos recuerda que a 5 meses Hamas sigue teniendo secuestrados”. La chapita lleva grabada, en inglés y en hebreo, la frase: “traiganlos a casa ahora”, en referencia a los cerca de 130 rehenes que los terroristas de Hamas tienen desde el 7 de octubre pasado, cuando realizaron un brutal ataque en Israel.
Ajmechet es una de las legisladoras más comprometidas con el tema y en su mensaje en X, también pidió que Hamas sea declarada como organización terrorista por la Argentina.
Milei también se manifestó recientemente sobre el tema de los rehenes en manos de Hamas, entre los que también hay ciudadanos argentinos. Fue a fines de enero pasado, cuando se conmemoró el Día Internacional en Memoria de las Víctimas del Holocausto. Allí dijo que: “Argentina no se silencia frente al terror de Hamas” al exigir la “liberación inmediata” de los rehenes. Pocos días después en su viaje a Israel se reunió con familiares de rehenes argentinos y también visitó uno de los kibutz atacados.
