Al menos 40 personas murieron y más de 100 resultaron heridas después de que atacantes armados irrumpieran en un popular complejo de salas de conciertos cerca de Moscú y abrieran fuego, según información preliminar del Servicio Federal de Seguridad de Rusia, informó el medio estatal TASS.

Imágenes de video del lugar del atentado terrorista al Crocus City Hall, muestran el vasto complejo en llamas y humo elevándose en el aire. RIA Novosti informó que los individuos armados «abrieron fuego con armas automáticas» y «lanzaron una granada o una bomba incendiaria, lo que causó un incendio».
El medio estatal Russia 24 informó que el techo del lugar se derrumbó parcialmente.
El ataque se desarrolló antes de que el grupo musical Picnic comenzara a actuar, según Russia 24.
La Fiscalía General de Rusia dijo que “personas no identificadas vestidas de camuflaje irrumpieron en Crocus. En ese momento comenzaron a disparar antes del inicio del concierto”, según el medio estatal ruso TASS.
