Ante la nota publicada el 15 de mayo por el diario La Nación, escrita por Ezequiel Fernández Moores y titulada “Palestina le pregunta a la FIFA y al COI: Un muerto en Ucrania vale más que un muerto en Gaza?”, es nuestro deber señalar abiertamente las falacias y dejar en evidencia la animosidad judeofóbica vertida por su autor.  

Debemos iniciar advirtiendo la notoria mala intención del autor, quien se centra en los efectos parciales de una guerra no iniciada y mucho menos deseada por Israel omitiendo intencionalmente los hechos que dieron origen a la misma. La mencionada guerra, fue originada ni más ni menos que por un pogrom, al mejor estilo de los nazis o los cosacos, perpetrado por el grupo terrorista Hamas. Agrupación que gobierna la Franja de Gaza hace casi dos décadas, y  que causó la muerte de más de 1200  israelíes y extranjeros con más de 200 secuestros de los cuales 132 siguen en cautiverio. Los brutales hechos fueron a plena luz del día, filmados y documentados por los perpetradores, quienes  además mutilaron, violaron, descuartizaron, quemaron vivos a ancianos, mujeres, hombres y niños. 

No existe justificación alguna para tal aberración y constituye, claramente, una fundamentación para la legítima defensa del agredido conforme el derecho internacional. Un casus belli de manual.

Dicho esto, nota, la comparación maliciosa y falaz de la situación entre Israel y Hamas con el conflicto entre  Rusia y Ucrania carece de sentido. En la guerra europea, está definido que el agresor e invasor es el primero de los referenciados, quien violó la soberanía ucraniana. En el caso de la guerra de Israel, que analiza desatinadamente el Sr. Fernández Moores, la violación flagrante y monstruosa de la soberanía fue provocada por Hamas quien rompió un alto al fuego existente y perpetró la brutal masacre descrita anteriormente. 

Pero además de tamaña omisión deliberada por parte del autor, sus líneas demuestran claramente un sinnúmero de tergiversaciones y simplificaciones que demuestran su desconocimiento absoluto sobre el tipo de guerra que se libra en Gaza o, peor aún, expresan un claro antisemitismo disfrazado de antisionismo tal como lo expone la Alianza Internacional de Recordación del Holocausto (IHRA) en su concepto de antisemitismo que oportunamente fuera adoptado en nuestro país en el año 2020. No puede escaparse a un medio periodístico ni a un periodista la forma en que actúan grupos terroristas tales como Hamas, la Jihad Islámica Palestina, Hezbollah u otros involucrados en este conflicto. Se ha probado cómo estos grupos actúan en ámbitos y estructuras civiles para atacar al Estado de Israel y a los soldados israelíes y utilizando como escudo a los propios gazatíes.

Mientras el Estado Judío invierte miles de millones de dólares para defender a su población de los miles de cohetes, drones y demás proyectiles lanzados desde todos los puntos cardinales en forma indiscriminada hacia su territorio, los terroristas han utilizado el dinero que el mundo les aporta para construir más de 700 kilómetros de túneles que pasan debajo de universidades, escuelas, mezquitas, campos deportivos y establecimientos de la UNRWA. El uso militar de una estadio de fútbol  o cualquier estructura civil lo torna en objetivo militar de acuerdo a las leyes de la guerra y los muertos civiles que ese accionar  genera es responsabilidad exclusiva de quien viola esa normativa. El autor debería saber esto.

No contento con tales mendaces argumentos, el autor propicia que lo que hace el Estado de Israel constituye un genocidio justificando el accionar del grupo terrorista por su “bloqueo”. Para el conocimiento de este y del medio que reproduce su nota, y como hemos expuesto en numerosas oportunidades, Israel tiene plena capacidad militar para concluir el conflicto en días si realmente tuviera la intención de hacerlo. Sin embargo las Fuerzas de Defensa de Israel realiza decenas de acciones para evitar las bajas civiles, entre ellas: Informar mediante panfletos, llamadas y mensajes SMS de las zonas donde va a atacar, cosa que no hace ningún ejército del mundo, generar corredores humanitarios, permite el ingreso de alimentos y combustible, proveer seguridad a los camiones que transportan comida, etc.  Hablar de genocidio es banalizar aquellos que realmente, y de manera trágica, están sucediendo en el mundo. Sabrá el autor que la población árabe denominada “Palestina” ha crecido exponencialmente desde la creación del Estado de Israel. 

Israel tiene los medios militares para destruir Gaza pero no tiene la intención, en cambio,  el grupo terrorista Hamas demuestra exactamente lo contrario. En menos de 24 horas demostró lo que no se limita a la destrucción del Estado Judío sino de todos los judíos e infieles del mundo. Irán, Hamas, Hezbollah y la Jihad Islamica, entre otros, tienen la intención de realizar un eliminar a los judíos del mundo. No porque lo digamos nosotros sino porque ellos mismos no pierden oportunidad alguna para decirlo de manera pública. Pero, por suerte y por ahora, no tienen la capacidad.  

No nos resulta posible concebir la judeofobia disfrazada de “opinión periodística” como la referenciada. La libertad de expresión en nuestro país tiene un límite y en este caso se ha cruzado con la animosidad antisemita del autor. Otorgarle un espacio a este personaje para destilar odio y discriminación no debería permitirse en  un medio periodístico serio. 

A pesar del antisemitismo de muchos, la bandera del Estado de Israel continuará ondeando, orgullosa, en las Olimpiadas y en los eventos internacionales de los que participe tal como hace poco lo hizo en el Eurovision.
