El hermano del secuestrado Avinatan Or reveló el dinero que recaudó su familia para pagar por información sobre su cautiverio.
Mosher Or habló con la cadena Al Jazeera pidiendo noticias sobre su hermano e instando a Hamás a llegar a un acuerdo que devuelva a todos los cautivos de la Franja de Gaza a cambio de poner fin a la guerra allí.
Las declaraciones fueron realizadas en un video difundido por la cadena qatarí, cuyas operaciones en Israel fueron prohibidas por acusaciones de cooperación con la organización terrorista.
Al Jazeera no lo entrevistó directamente, pero difundió un video que les envió Moshe, en el cual habló en hebreo y la cadena subtituló en árabe.
“Buscamos cualquier información sobre él o su estado, incluso para recibir información o un mensaje suyo”, aseveró el hermano de Avinatan.
Además, expresó: “Hago un llamamiento a Hamás; liberaron a la mayoría de los secuestrados y todo salió bien. Vamos, hagamos un trato para todos y terminemos con esto”.

Or dijo que el primer ministro, Benjamín Netanyahu, es el que “toma las decisiones” sobre un acuerdo con Hamas y rechazó las declaraciones del gobierno de que es el grupo terrorista el que está retrasando el proceso de negociación de otro acuerdo de alto el fuego y liberación de secuestrados.
“La afirmación de que Hamás es el único que decide sobre un acuerdo es irrazonable”, indicó.
A su vez, agregó: “Creemos que lo correcto es llegar a un acuerdo integral que restituya a mi hermano Avinatan y a los rehenes juntos a cambio de poner fin a la guerra”.
Y añadió que “no hay precio demasiado alto” para conseguir la liberación de su hermano.
“Hay una gran mayoría en Israel que apoya el regreso de los secuestrados. El costo del acuerdo no importa. ¿Cuánto tiempo debe permanecer cautivo hasta que el primer ministro decida traerlo de vuelta?”, manifestó
Luego habló con Ynet, explicó que Al Jazeera le pidió entrevistarlo y que envió el video para obtener información sobre su hermano.

“Tal vez Avinatan lo vea y gane fuerza. No hablo con Al Jazeera porque me guste; en mi opinión, no son legítimos. No quisiera hablar con ellos, pero en la situación actual, estoy siendo pragmático. Siento que las cosas no están sucediendo, así que estoy probando otras plataformas”, expresó Moshe.
También señaló que está “dispuesto a hacer todo lo posible y a hablar con todos para que Avinatan regrese a casa. Espero que nuestros líderes se comporten como yo, que hagan todo lo posible y acepten todo para traer a los rehenes a casa ahora. Estoy decepcionado porque ha pasado un año y medio y no hay luz al final del túnel”.
Luego, reveló que la familia recaudó 250.000 NIS (casi 68.000 dólares), cantidad que está dispuesta a pagar por información sobre Avinatan.
“Estamos muy preocupados por él. Sabemos que está en los túneles”, concluyó.
Avinatan fue secuestrado en el festival Nova y separado de su novia, Noa Argamani, el 7 de octubre de 2023.
La primera señal de vida sobre Or llegó a principios de este año de parte de un liberado.
