A 31 años del peor ataque terrorista que sufrió nuestro país, AMIA, DAIA y familiares de las víctimas, realizarán este viernes el Acto Central de recordación y pedido de justicia, a partir de las 9:53, hora exacta en que un coche bomba explotó contra la sede de Pasteur 633. Aún impune, el ataque terrorista dejó el doloroso saldo de 85 víctimas fatales y más de 300 personas heridas.

Bajo el lema “La impunidad sigue, el terrorismo también”  el acto convoca a la comunidad en la puerta de la sede como todos los años.

El sonido de la sirena dará inicio formal al Acto. En la conmemoración se mencionarán los nombres de las 85 personas que fueron asesinadas en el atentado.

Frente a la sede de Pasteur 633, en el mismo sitio que fue elegido como blanco del
terrorismo internacional en el año 1994, la conmemoración se reunirá, nuevamente, a todas las voces comprometidas en apoyar el reclamo de justicia, denunciar la impunidad
persistente en la causa, y recordar a las personas asesinadas en el ataque.

La masacre contra la AMIA, cuya idea, planificación y ejecución fue acreditada
por la justicia argentina a manos de Irán y de integrantes de Hezbollah, dejó el doloroso
saldo de 85 víctimas fatales y más de 300 heridos. Ninguna persona ha sido condenada.
Declarado por la justicia argentina como un “crimen de lesa humanidad”, y por tanto
imprescriptible, el atentado del 18 de julio de 1994 supuso una grave violación a los
derechos humanos.

Al asumir su cargo en junio pasado, el nuevo titular de la institución, Osvaldo Armoza,
quien será orador en el Acto Central, sostuvo: “Como presidente de AMIA y profesional
del derecho voy a poner todo mi esfuerzo para que se puedan alcanzar avances
concretos. La falta de resolución en estas causas es una afrenta moral hacia las familias
que, desde hace casi 31 años, lloran y extrañan a quienes les fueron arrebatados por el
odio y el terror. Sepan que mi compromiso estará siempre con la memoria y la justicia. el
país entero es el que espera, exige y necesita una respuesta.”

El acto, en el que compartirán sus mensajes familiares de las víctimas fatales, contará con
la conducción de la presentadora Mariana Fabbiani, mientras que el artista Tripa (Germán
Tripel) tendrá a su carga el momento musical de la conmemoración.

“Sigue pasando el tiempo y continuamos sin ver avances en la investigación del peor
atentado perpetrado por el terrorismo internacional en la Argentina”, manifestó el
presidente de AMIA. «Sabemos lo que pasó. La verdad en la causa AMIA está en el
expediente. Lo que falta es justicia. No bajaremos los brazos hasta que los responsables
por la masacre cumplan sus condenas, por el crimen de lesa humanidad que cometieron.
Convocamos a toda la sociedad a hacerse presente el viernes 18, para acompañar a los
familiares y para demostrar que, a pesar del paso del tiempo, seguimos de pie”, concluyó.
