El reconocido actor estadounidense, Richard Gere llegará hoy domingo a Israel como invitado del Centro Peres para mantener un encuentro con el ex presidente israelí Shimon Peres, y hacer una actividad cultural con niños árabes e israelíes.
No es la primera vez que Gere vista el Estado Hebreo, la última vez fue en le 2003 cuando se reunió con niños para fomentar sus actividades de promoción y convivencia. Además es un amigo íntimo del ex presidente de Israel. En esta oportunidad se reunirá para ver el progreso que que han hecho niños árabes e israelíes durante su participación en un equipo de fútbol juvenil que promueven los valores de tolerancia y respeto entre ambas culturales.
Además el actor es uno de los que integra la película Oppenheimer que se encuentra en proceso de filmación y que está siendo dirigida por el director israelí, Joseph Cedar.
