Durante sus últimas 72 horas de vida, el fiscal especial del caso AMIA mantuvo una intensa actividad telefónica. Habló con una diputada, su tía, sus secretarias y varios comunicadores. Tenía dos celulares y una línea fija.
En sus últimos días, el fiscal Alberto Nisman habló con un sinfín de personas desde sus líneas telefónicas. Algunos de sus familiares, una diputada y varios de sus colaboradores integran el listado de llamados que hizo mientras se preparaba para presentar ante el Congreso la denuncia contra la presidente Cristina Kirchner por encubrir el atentado a la AMIA.
Según publica el diario Clarín, su tía, Lidia Garfunkel, es la última persona a la que llamó el sábado 17 de enero a las 23:52 desde su departamento en las torres Le Parc de Puerto Madero. Por lo menos, Nisman contaba con tres líneas de celular activas: una de Claro, otra de Nextel y una de Movistar, que es la que le dejó a su hija Iara en el aeropuerto de Madrid para comunicarse con su madre, la jueza Sandra Arroyo Salgado.
Según la declaración del ex espía Antonio Stiuso ante la fiscal Viviana Fein, esta última línea se la habría dado al fiscal, hace varios años, la Secretaría de Inteligencia (SI) para mantener contacto cuando viajaba al exterior. Arroyo Salgado tenía agendado ese número como «AA Viaje Gus», precisó el matutino.
El día antes de morir, Nisman utilizó la línea fija de su departamento para hacer dos llamados. A las 23:07 llamó a su tía Lidia y la comunicación se extendió por apenas 15 segundos. Al respecto, no se estableció aún si llegó o no a hablar con la mujer, ya que Garfunkel no mencionó este llamado en su declaración ante Fein. La hermana de la madre del fiscal sólo señaló cómo se enteró de la muerte de su sobrino, cómo llegó y entró al departamento la madrugada del 19 y cómo acompañó a Sara, su hermana.
Antes de llamar a Lidia, el fiscal del caso AMIA marcó el celular de su hermana Sandra. La llamó desde su teléfono fijo a las 22:52 y la comunicación duró apenas 54 segundos.
En medio de días agitados, el fiscal trabajaba en su departamento. Soledad Castro, secretaria letrada de la fiscalía y principal colaboradora de Nisman en esta denuncia, dijo que le comentó, inclusive, que debía trabajar con las cortinas cerradas. Declaró –tal como aparece en los registros telefónicos–, que habló con Nisman hasta el último día. El sábado 18 Nisman la llamó en varias oportunidades a la casa de sus padres, desde las 9 hasta las 19, y luego se comunicaron por el servicio de mensajería instantánea WhatsApp.
La tarde de ese día, a las 17:10 y a las 18:44, lo llamó a su móvil de Claro una de sus secretarias privadas, Marina Pettis, quien fue la que se contactó primero con Castro y luego con la ex mujer de Nisman para saber qué pasaba con el fiscal. Incluso, fue a ella a la que habían llamado los custodios para preguntarle qué sabía de Nisman, porque los había citado a las 11 y eran las 16:30 y no sabían nada de él.
De cara a la exposición ante el Congreso, que estaba prevista para el lunes, Nisman mantuvo una reunión con la diputada Patricia Bullrich antes de su muerte y habló con ella varias veces por teléfono. El 16 de enero, por ejemplo, la llamó en dos oportunidades desde su línea fija. Ese día también habló con su asesor informático Diego Lagomarsino y con su madre.
Hizo un llamado más el 17 de enero desde su teléfono fijo. Habló con un celular durante más de siete minutos, a las 14:03. El destinatario de la comunicación fue el periodista de Infobae Laureano Pérez Izquierdo, quien oportunamente declaró ante la fiscal Fein cuáles fueron sus contactos con el ex titular de la UFI-AMIA.
