Gabriel Gorenstein: «SOMOS AMIA es una alternativa a los extremos»

Gabriel Gorenstein, secretario del Departamento de Empleo de AMIA e integrante de la lista SOMOS AMIA que participará en las elecciones del 5 de abril del 2020, dialogó en exclusiva con Vis á Vis y aseguró que «nosotros convocamos a todos en busca de una comunidad mejor porque a través de nuestro trabajo y nuestras propuestas podemos representar a los socios de AMIA».

En la cena anual por el 125° aniversario se afirmó que AMIA tiene el Servicio de Empleo privado más importante del país. ¿Qué sentís vos en tu rol de secretario del área?

La sensación es de una gran satisfacción. La actual coyuntura implica afrontar desafíos cada vez mayores para el sector del empleo. El Servicio de Empleo de AMIA (SEA) no se enfoca solamente en la búsqueda de empleo y ofertas laborales sino que también brinda capacitaciones gratuitas para 15 mil personas por año y promueve la inclusión social y laboral. Este año también se cumplieron diez años del programa Valor de responsabilidad social empresaria promovido por el BID y el FOMIN.

¿Cómo se trabaja para lograr estos resultados?

Mediante acciones directas el Servio de Empleo de AMIA se posicionó también a nivel nacional abriendo sedes en el interior del país y firmando acuerdos con organismos públicos y privados para el desarrollo de capacitaciones y acciones directas. El SEA es uno de los departamentos de AMIA que cuenta con la certificación de Normas ISO lo cual exige un riguroso seguimiento de las tareas propuestas.

Como sucede en todos los departamentos de AMIA, nuestro trabajo voluntario es proponer y acompañar los proyectos del área. Tengo la suerte de contar con un gran equipo profesional, que lidera Ernesto Tocker como director, que nos permite sentir un gran orgullo por la labor realizada.

Con respecto a las elecciones del año que viene, ¿cómo surgió la lista de SOMOS AMIA?

Un grupo de dirigentes de diferentes movimientos decidimos conformar esta lista, debido a que no estábamos cómodos con las opciones que se habían generado. Entendemos que esto también le está pasando a muchos socios que quieren contar con una alternativa y es por eso que surge SOMOS AMIA como respuesta a esa necesidad. Contamos con personas con una vasta experiencia en la dirigencia comunitaria y jóvenes que aportarán un nuevo enfoque. No tenemos ningún compromiso con ningún partido político nacional. Somos una lista sionista que trabajará por una comunidad unida. De hecho, hemos elaborado propuestas concretas para ofrecerle a los socios en temas que consideramos sensibles para la comunidad.

¿Cuáles son sus principales propuestas?

Consideramos prioritario trabajar con respecto a la educación de la comunidad judía. En base a eso, realizaremos un replanteo en cuanto a los subsidios que reciben las escuelas de la red escolar judía implementando un sistema que permita nivelar y transparentar los fondos. Esto lo haremos con el objetivo de fomentar y fortalecer la educación judía. Nuestro desafío es doble, debido a que buscaremos mantener a los chicos y las familias dentro de la red escolar judía y, a su vez, acercar a aquellos que están por fuera.

Queremos fortalecer la Secretaría de la Mujer, otorgándole un mayor presupuesto, con un lugar físico establecido y personal que esté abocado a la tarea de coordinar las actividades.

Vamos a implementar un trabajo conjunto con jóvenes dirigentes para que se integren en forma activa a las diferentes subsecretarías.

Trabajaremos en propuestas culturales que lleguen a todos y cada uno de los socios en sus propios barrios e instituciones.

Impulsaremos un mayor trabajo en programas de asistencia y acción social apuntado a familias carenciadas y adultos mayores.

Todas las áreas de la kehilá contarán con jóvenes en sus equipos aportando una nueva visión en la búsqueda de respuestas a los socios de la institución.

Nos enfocamos en temas relevantes para la comunidad en los que consideramos que somos capaces de trabajar, debido a que conocemos la actualidad de lo que sucede en AMIA, ya que varios dirigentes que componemos SOMOS AMIA venimos trabajando en diferentes áreas de la kehilá, y la comunidad.

¿Quiénes componen la agrupación?

Si bien la lista de candidatos al RAT (NdR: Asamblea de Representantes de Asociados de la AMIA) está compuesta por personas quienes integramos este frente pertenecemos al Movimiento Sionista.

En mi caso al Likud Argentina, pero también están Unidad Comunitaria, el Movimiento Sionista Apartidario, dirigentes que son parte de Mercaz y varios socios independientes que se acercaron para participar en este espacio.

 ¿Cuál es el objetivo de cara a la próxima elección?

El objetivo es brindar soluciones a las necesidades de todos los socios de AMIA y eso tiene que ver con las propuestas que elaboramos. Debemos trabajar en la educación judía, tenemos que fortalecer la Secretaría de la Mujer, los jóvenes tienen que tener un rol importante en cada área y los dirigentes idóneos tienen que estar trabajando por el bien de la comunidad. Hay que hacer una evaluación pormenorizada de cada Secretaría, ya que hay programas dentro de cada área que funcionan muy bien y otros que se deben replantear. Hay una estructura que debe ser revisada para aggiornar los procesos y llevar adelante una comisión de enlace que permita una rápida inserción de la nueva CD con el objetivo de avanzar sobre los nuevos proyectos. Hay muchos temas importantes para abordar, pero el foco debe estar puesto en la contención de quienes más lo necesitan y en la educación judía.

Se presentan como el Frente Sionista Comunitario. ¿Qué rol tiene el sionismo dentro de esta lista?

El Sionismo es transversal a todos los judíos y tenemos mucho que aprender en cuanto a la superación e integración. En forma simple: «Dame un punto de apoyo y moveré el mundo«. En el caso de nuestro frente, el Sionismo es nuestro punto de apoyo, el lugar de encuentro para edificar e impulsar los acuerdos que permitan gestionar la AMIA atendiendo todas las voces y posiciones. Tengo presente un famoso discurso de Menajem Beguin en la Knesset donde dijo: “Todos somos judíos. Todos somos hermanos. Todos somos luchadores”.

¿Por qué se presentan tres listas y no se puede lograr la unidad en la comunidad?

Cada lista podrá explicar por qué se presenta en estas elecciones. SOMOS AMIA es una alternativa a los extremos. Nosotros convocamos a todos en busca de una comunidad mejor. Desde nuestro espacio esperamos que la unidad pueda darse, antes o después de la elección de representantes.

Dado que las elecciones son indirectas tendremos una gran oportunidad de generar una Comisión Directiva donde todos los sectores estén incluidos.

Por el Estatuto de la AMIA, aunque haya una lista de unidad, igual tendría que haber elecciones. Creo que es muy bueno que los socios puedan participar y que se expresen a través del voto. Para ello es vital que haya opciones, pero sobre todo propuestas concretas.

¿En qué se diferencian de las otras listas?

Eso lo podrán decir los socios de AMIA. Tengo claro que la formación de nuestra lista obedece a intereses comunitarios y no personalistas. No tenemos vínculos con partidos políticos nacionales, tenemos un sano equilibrio entre voluntarios jóvenes y experimentados que han mostrado capacidad de gestión, y hemos dado muestras de trabajo con diferentes movimientos que componen nuestra comunidad. Tenemos una visión de las necesidades desde adentro de la AMIA porque varios integrantes hoy están trabajando en Secretarías que han mostrado un gran funcionamiento y caminamos todos los días las instituciones de la comunidad. Hemos elaborado propuestas concretas para cumplir con las necesidades de los socios y que se sientan representados por SOMOS AMIA.

¿Quién es el candidato de SOMOS AMIA?

SOMOS AMIA trabaja de forma horizontal, por lo que todos los que pertenecen a la lista ocupan un lugar importante en la toma de decisiones. Las elecciones son indirectas, lo que se eligen son representantes para luego formar una comisión directiva, por lo que en este momento estamos centralizados en seguir generando propuestas antes de definir quién será el candidato de nuestra lista. No obstante, es importante tener claro que es un cargo que podría ser de consenso entre todas las listas una vez que se convoque al RAT luego de las elecciones. Si bien faltan poco más de cuatro meses hay mucho camino por recorrer y en SOMOS AMIA creemos que a través de nuestro trabajo y nuestras propuestas podemos representar a los socios de AMIA.
