Yo sé que no están de moda los comentarios tardíos, pero soy partidaria de dejar macerar algunas reflexiones para despojarlas de los impulsos iniciales.
El 27 de enero se conmemoró el Día Internacional de la Shoá y la liberación del campo de concentración y exterminio Aushwitz-Birkenau.
Hay discursos que me resultan especialmente paradojales –por no agregarles vergonzosos- como aquellos que dicen que no hay que guardar silencio y son los que siempre callan o que apenas levantan la voz para pegarles a los más inofensivos o los más inocentes, pero no se atreven con los Biondini, con los Esteche, con los Víctor Hugo Morales, con los Cuneo y otros tantos. Los que, por las dudas, y con argumentos débiles, no se meten con los más temerarios o poderosos.
Tener la voz en un día tan trascendente para la historia y expresarse a reglamento es, a mi parecer, un desperdicio.
Las instituciones están para muchísimo más –o deberían estarlo- que para dejar testimonio formal y administrativo.
Los antisemitas merecen el repudio con vehemencia, sin medias tintas, sin consignas de escuela primaria porque no son chicos inocentes, son adultos responsables de sus actos.
En el acto convocado por la cancillería y las organizaciones centrales para evocar este día, también las cosas resultaron confusas. O claras. Muy claras.
Todas las matanzas y asesinatos son feroces, pero si los mezclamos no le damos la entidad que cada una de las batallas merecen. Las muertes de la Shoá, de la nefasta última dictadura argentina y de las mujeres son todas atroces pero si las equiparamos pierden el propio peso y el valor diferencial de cada una.
Hubo lamentables similitudes entre el Holocausto y la última dictadura, y también sustanciales diferencias. Tal vez la intención de equipararlas era para no hablar de lleno de lo que se debía en ese acto, pero no es eso lo más grave, sino que habló una representante del ICUF que es un partido político. Y si hubiera hablado cualquier otro partido también lo consideraría erróneo.
El acto que evoca la Shoá debe proponer una mirada apartidaria (que no significa apolítica) porque ningún partido político puede representar a todos ni proponer la amplitud de las tantas cosas que ocurrieron en la Alemania nazi.
Incluso hubo algo más sorprendente, no le otorgaron espacio al presidente del Museo del Holocausto.
Me parece bien todos los que asistieron al acto, nadie sobra cuando se trata de expresarse ante las atrocidades. Me parece que faltaron muchos y creo que otros serían mejores representantes de las instituciones judías si hubieran expresado y defendido –como así lo dice la misión de la organización que representan- que hay cuestiones que no son partidarias, y que hubo muchas voces desgarradas que no tuvieron espacio en favor de los complacientes con los políticos de turno.
