La Embajada de Israel en Colombia se sumó a la campaña “Ayudar nos hace bien”, que lidera la Primera Dama, María Juliana Ruíz, con el apoyo de la Fundación Solidaridad por Colombia.
El Estado de Israel, en representación de su Embajada en Colombia, ha sumado esfuerzos para ayudar en esta oportunidad, a las familias más vulnerables de la Comunidad Wayúu.
Se entregó, por medio de esta campaña, alimentos y otros componentes de la canasta básica y cuyos destinatarios son familias de hasta 4 personas.
Para el Embajador Christian Cantor, en este momento que atraviesa el mundo, por la pandemia de covid-19, “no podemos ser indiferentes. Por ello, la Embajada de Israel quiso sumarse a esta iniciativa y aportar su grano de arena en la ayuda a estas familias en La Guajira que tanto lo necesitan”, y agregó “esperamos seguir apoyando a un país hermano como Colombia, según sean sus prioridades”
La Jefa de Prensa de la Embajada de Israel en Colombia nos comentó que “Adicionalmente durante una conferencia previa, con la Primera Dama, el Embajador Cantor pidió que junto a la entrega de la canasta básica, enviará un gran abrazo del pueblo de Israel a los habitantes de La Guajira”.
