El embajador de Argentina en Israel, Sergio Urribarri, hizo hoy entrega de sus cartas credenciales al presidente del Estado Judío, Reuvén Rivlin. La firma oficial se llevó a cabo en la residencia presidencial, cumpliendo con todos los protocolos correspondientes.
Tras el encuentro, la embajadora de Israel en Argentina, Galit Ronen, emitió su comentario: «Felicitaciones Sergio Urribari. Su excelencia».
Rivlin, por su parte, le dio la bienvenida a Urribarri y a los demás nuevos embajadores (Colombia, Grecia, Dinamarca y Rumania) que entregaron sus credenciales diplomáticas.
La confirmación en el cargo del ex gobernador de Entre Ríos se realizó tras la asunción de Alberto Fernández como presidente, en diciembre del año pasado. Por consiguiente, reemplazó a Mariano Caucino, embajador en Israel durante el gobierno de Mauricio Macri.
