Logrando un aumento del 43% sobre el volumen medio en 2019 y del 36% sobre el promedio de los tres años anteriores. Por su parte, el comercio fue especialmente volátil cuando la crisis comenzó en marzo. Debido a que el volumen de comercio diario promedio alcanzó los 2.900 millones de NIS y de de mayo a diciembre el promedio fue de 1.700 millones de NIS.
A su vez, unas 27 nuevas empresas realizaron ofertas públicas iniciales durante el año, la más alta desde 2007. De ellas, 19 fueron empresas de alta tecnología y ocho recaudaron dinero con una capitalización de mercado superior a 1.000 millones de NIS. Se espera que docenas de compañías de alta tecnología se unan a la TASE en los próximos meses, dijo la bolsa.
“Este año marcó un hito significativo en el fortalecimiento de los lazos entre TASE y la alta tecnología local. Hubo un número récord de nuevas empresas de tecnología que se unieron a TASE, con docenas más por venir”, dijo el director general de la bolsa Ittai Ben Zeev. “Nuestra estrategia en los últimos años ha sentado las bases que permiten a TASE reflejar mejor el éxito de la alta tecnología israelí y servir de hogar para esas empresas”.
Cerca de 135.000 nuevas cuentas comerciales se abrieron durante el año, en comparación con menos de 100.000 en 2019. Aumentando el 150% en el número de cuentas abiertas en las casas de inversión. TASE atribuyó esto al aumento de la actividad de relaciones públicas.
El capital total recaudado en el mercado de valores ascendió a 16.300 millones de NIS en 2020, en comparación con los 13.300 millones de 2019. La oferta pública total ascendió a 12.000 millones de NIS en 2020, un aumento del 45% con respecto al año anterior.
En total, se registraron más de 225 ofertas y colocaciones privadas este año, en relación a las 158 en 2019. Actualmente, 454 empresas cotizan en TASE, con un capital de mercado agregado de 819 mil millones de NIS.
Cinco nuevos índices fueron lanzados en 2020. Dos de ellos enfocados en compañías verdes amigables con el medio ambiente y tres rastreando bienes raíces.
La semana pasada, la bolsa anunció la firma de un acuerdo de colaboración con la Bolsa de Valores de Abu Dhabi (ADX). Esto permitirá a las empresas de los Emiratos Árabes Unidos colaborar con las empresas de Israel por primera vez.
Por separado, TASE dijo el martes que tenía las dos primeras cotizaciones para su innovadora plataforma electrónica, TASE UP. Permite a las empresas y los fondos recaudar dinero de los inversores acreditados e institucionales y seguir siendo privados.
