La Embajada de Serbia en Buenos Aires, con motivo de su Día Nacional, entregó distinciones por la colaboración en el año 2020. El acto se realizó el pasado 15 de Febrero y fue encabezado por la Embajadora de Serbia en Argentina, Dra. Jela Bacovic.
El Lic. Ariel Blufstein, encargado de las Relaciones Diplomáticas de la DAIA, fue distinguido por su tarea en el ámbito cultural. También fueron reconocidos Agustina Catone de Fundación Telefónica y Pablo de Vita.
Esta distinción se suma a las cinco condecoraciones que recibió Blufstein por parte de distintas representaciones extranjeras. Es el organizador del cóctel que se denomina «comienzo del año diplomático» en el que se reúnen embajadores y funcionarios acreditados en el país.
La República de Serbia es un país soberano, constituido en Estado social y democrático de Derecho y cuya forma de gobierno es la República parlamentaria. Situado en la Península balcánica, en el sureste de Europa, según su constitución limita con Hungría al norte; con Rumania y Bulgaria al este; con Macedonia y Albania al sur; y con Bosnia y Herzegovina, Croacia y Montenegro al oeste. Su capital y ciudad más poblada es Belgrado.
El 15 de febrero es la fecha de dos hechos importantes en la historia de Serbia: el primer levantamiento contra las fuerzas otomanas en 1804 y la proclamación de la Constitución de 1835.
En 1804 comenzó en Orasac el Primer Levantamiento Serbio por la liberación, después de cuatro siglos de dominación del Imperio Otomano. Todos los éxitos logrados después, entre los años 1815 y 1833, tienen su origen en el Primer Levantamiento Serbio, el que posibilitó la creación del Estado serbio, así como la expansión de su territorio.
Gracias a este levantamiento, el 15 de febrero del año 1835, en la Gran Asamblea Popular en Kragujevac, se proclamó la primera Constitución de Serbia, una de las más liberales y modernas en Europa de aquellos tiempos, cuya adopción se toma como el comienzo de la creación del Estado serbio moderno.
