Israel anunció este martes que enviará un equipo médico a Guinea Ecuatorial, luego de explosiones devastadoras en un campamento militar en el país africano.

La delegación conjunta del Ministerio de Salud y las Fuerzas de Defensa de Israel (FDI) incluirá médicos de cuidados intensivos, pediatras y otros especialistas médicos, según un comunicado gubernamental, informó Enlace Judío.

La dependencia dijo que el Consejo de Seguridad Nacional solicitó que la delegación fuera enviada a Guinea Ecuatorial. El mes pasado, el presidente del país, Teodoro Obiang Nguema, comunicó a Benjamín Netanyahu sus planes para trasladar la embajada de la nación africana en Israel hacia Jerusalén.

El número de muertos por las explosiones ocurridas en Guinea Ecuatorial superó el centenar este martes.
