El certamen fue impulsado por la Asociación Israelita de Paraná, en conjunto con la DAIA Filial Entre Ríos, y tuvo el acompañamiento de la Municipalidad de la ciudad. La propuesta seleccionada se instalará en la plaza Sáenz Peña
Luego del trabajo del jurado, se conoció el proyecto ganador bajo el seudónimo Jasana, cuyos autores fueron la artista visual, Rocío Analiz Gallardo, y los arquitectos, Sandra Serenella Massazza y Javier Ventura.
El segundo premio correspondió a Arrimatextos, del arquitecto, Ricardo Daniel Jaimovich, y las artistas visuales, Fiorella Silvana Godoy y Marianella Belén Galli.
“Paraná es una ciudad conformada en su mayoría por inmigrantes europeos. Por eso es una ciudad inclusiva, abierta y trabajamos para consolidar esa postura y para que predomine el diálogo y el respeto entre todos los sectores”, sostuvo el intendente Adán Bahl.
El titular de la Asociación Israelita de Paraná, Daniel Soskin, durante la presentación de las propuestas, expresó: “Estamos emocionados por lo que significa tener un monumento que conmemora el Holocausto en una de las plazas principales. Somos un pueblo que hace culto a la memoria y estamos orgullosos de que nuestra ciudad acompañe en estos momentos”.

Por su parte, el titular de Patrimonio Provincial de la Secretaría de Cultura de la Provincia, arquitecto Gabriel Terenzio, brindó precisiones para la selección de las obras. «Se evaluó la implantación de la obra en el terreno, el símbolo de la propuesta, el mensaje que aporta y cómo lo trabaja desde la materialidad. Se inserta en el entorno tanto urbano y natural basándose en el paisaje de la plaza”.
El jurado a cargo de la evaluación de las propuestas estuvo compuesto por el Intendente de la Ciudad Paraná Adán Bahl; la Directora del Museo Provincial de Bellas Artes «Dr. Pedro E. Martínez», Marcela Irina Canalis; La Directora de Diseño Urbano Arquitectónico de la Subsecretaría de Planeamiento Urbano de Paraná, Mirta Maislos. El Delegado de Inadi Entre Ríos, Julián Ríos; el Jefe de la División de Patrimonio Provincial de la Secretaría de Cultura de la Provincia de Entre Ríos, Gabriel Terenzio. También el director de la Escuela Hebrea «Martín Buber» de la Asociación Israelita de Paraná, Julio Kovalsky y en representación de la Daia Filial Entre Ríos, el Santiago Lejtman.
El anuncio del concurso de carácter provincial se realizó el 9 de noviembre del 2020. En esa oportunidad el gobernador, Gustavo Bordet, y el intendente Bahl descubrieron la piedra fundamental en el lugar donde estará emplazada la obra.
La Organización del Concurso quiere efectuar un especial agradecimiento a la Municipalidad de Paraná. Al Intendente Contador Adam Bahl, a los Asesores Técnicos, al Honorable Jurado. Además, en especial, a los participantes que han realizado un gran aporte y contribución a esta acción pública.
Por otra parte deseamos felicitar a los ganadores, tanto al primer premio como el segundo, por su importante logro.
En días venideros se procederá a efectuar la entrega de los premios y los certificados correspondientes.
