Más de 100,000 personas celebraron en el primer desfile del orgullo gay de Tel Aviv en dos años el viernes. La Policía de Israel frustró una serie de intentos de ataques  de fóbicos contra el evento.

El desfile contó con camiones de fiesta y DJ, que terminó con una gran fiesta con actuaciones de artistas destacados en Charles Clore Park. Decenas de miles de juerguistas bailaron junto a los camiones mientras recorrían el paseo marítimo de Tel Aviv
Si bien el desfile generalmente atrae a multitudes de cientos de miles, este año fue un poco más pequeño. La causa fue el nuevo brote del coronavirus y las restricciones que impiden que los turistas extranjeros ingresen al país.

El desfile siguió siendo el evento más grande que tuvo lugar en Israel desde el comienzo de la pandemia de coronavirus.

Forever Pride, un servicio de entretenimiento para fiestas, contó con actuaciones de una gran cantidad de drag King y Queens’s, con Top 40 y música israelí.
Un escenario al final del desfile contó con las actuaciones de Nasrin Qadri, Ella Lee, Eden Hason, Ninet Tayeb, Noga Erez, Eden Alena, Nofar Salaman, Marina Maximilia y Anna Zak.
Cerca de 2.000 policías se desplegaron a lo largo de la ruta del desfile, junto con cuadricópteros, cámaras de seguridad y un helicóptero policial, para asegurar el evento.
El movimiento Hazon, que ha estado en gran parte inactivo durante más de un año, regresó el viernes para protestar por el desfile con una persona en parapente cerca del desfile con un paracaídas que decía «Padre + Madre = Familia».
La policía arrestó a tres activistas de Hazon después de que aterrizaron los parapentes, incluido el rabino Dror Aryeh, uno de los líderes del movimiento. Los tres fueron detenidos por violar las normas de aviación y alterar el orden público.
