Mientras el Tribunal Supremo Electoral lleva escrutado el 3% de los votos del sufragio que se llevó a cabo en Bolivia ayer, el antisemitismo que se desató en los últimos meses en ese país a raíz del conflicto entre Israel y Hamás preocupan de cara a los cuatro años que tiene por delante y además cómo será su relación con la comunidad judía.
Como mucho de los países latinoamericanos durante el conflicto tomaron una posición pro Hamás no solo a nivel político, sino que los propios ciudadanos también tomaron partido con algunos hechos de antisemitismo que se produjeron en los últimos meses; la Sinagoga de Cochabamba fue atacada con piedras y molotov en los meses de abril y julio. Estos incidentes llevaron a que el Comité Judío Americano se expida y le solicite al presidente boliviano que actué contra el antisemitismo en ese país. Pese a estos pedidos desde la casa de gobierno se llamaron a silencio
Además de estos hechos se dieron a conocer marchas pro palestinas durante el conflicto y en el Parlamento boliviano se colocó una bandera de la Autoridad Palestina, y también se dio una charla en favor de la lucha que estaba llevando a cabo Hamás, Otras de las situaciones problemáticas que surgieron fue que desde ahora en adelante los israelíes deberán ingresar con una visa, esto sucedió luego de que le presidente declare al Estado Hebreo como terrorista.
A partir de este tercer mandato ininterrumpido habrá que ver que sí cambia la posición Evo Morales con respecto a la lucha contra el antisemitismo, ya que hasta el momento se ha llamado a silencio aunque los hechos no digan lo mismo, y sí su relación con la comunidad judía tiene un giro después de tantos vaivenes que tuvo hasta el momento.
