El representante palestino en la ONU dijo que los cohetes de Hamás son crímenes contra la humanidad y los de Israel no (VIDEO)

El representante palestino en el Consejo de Derechos Humanos de la ONU, Ibrahim Khreisheh, cree que el lanzamiento de misiles a territorio israelí es un crimen contra la humanidad por ir directamente contra civiles, mientras que, por el contrario, cree que la actuación de Israel no puede ser considerada como tal debido al aviso de bombardeos que realiza.

«Los misiles que están siendo lanzados contra Israel, todos y cada uno de ellos, constituyen un crimen contra la humanidad». Son las palabras del representante palestino en el Consejo de Derechos Humanos de la ONU en Ginebra, Ibrahim Khreisheh.

Estas declaraciones las ha realizado en una entrevista para la televisión ‘Memri TV’. Puede ser difícil creer que un diplomático palestino considere que los ataques de Palestina constituyan delitos contra la humanidad, mientras que los bombardeos israelíes no merezcan esa atribución. La razón es muy sencilla, Israel avisa a la población civil acerca de la hora y el lugar sobre el que se lanzarán sus misiles.

Según este miembro del Consejo de Derechos Humanos, este motivo podría ser suficiente para colocar a Gaza y Cisjordania en una situación menos legítima que la de Israel en el actual conflicto entre ambas partes y que se ha cobrado ya la vida de más de 200 personas.

Pide a los ciudadanos que piensen dos veces antes de contar en la televisión cómo son los bombardeos por parte del lado judío. Les insta a obviar los avisos de evacuación para que ningún civil sea herido o asesinado. «La gente debería saber mejor lo que está diciendo antes de apelar al consejo de Derechos Humanos».

Sin embargo los cohetes lanzados por Hamás sí serían constitutivos de crimen contra la humanidad para Khreisheh, pues «son lanzados directamente sobre civiles y no se avisa» de su lanzamiento. «Da igual que maten o no a gente, su intención es contra los civiles».

En cambio, el resto de acciones israelíes sobre el pueblo palestino, son vistas por este diplomático con otros ojos: «la expansión, los asentamientos, los arrestos y todo lo demás» sí pueden ser considerados como ataques contra la humanidad.
Sitúan a Khreisheh como candidato a la presidencia

Ibrahim Khreisheh, activista del partido Al Fatah y uno de sus rostros más visibles en los últimos años, es uno de los nombres que más se repiten para presentarse a la presidencia de la Autoridad Nacional Palestina. Además de ser diplomático, ha desarrollado otros cargos de calado político.

En febrero de 2006, tras las elecciones del 25 de enero, fue elegido director general del Consejo Legislativo y lleva años siendo uno de los principales activistas de Al Fatah. Es conocida su mala relación con los miembros de Hamás, que gobierna actualmente en la franja de Gaza.

Khreisheh ha negado en la misma entrevista citada, que fuera a «presentarse a ninguna elección en Palestina». Asegura que no tiene que ganarse la simpatía ni conseguir popularidad entre los ciudadanos.
