Un terrorista intentó apuñalar a soldados de las FDI cerca de Ateret, en la región de Binyamin, el martes por la tarde (hora Israel).
El sospechoso llegó al cruce de Halamish en la ruta 465 y comenzó a atacar a los uniformados, según los informes locales.
En el momento del ataque, las fuerzas de seguridad lograron abatir al terrorista, del que todavía no trascendió su identidad.
Las autoridades confirmaron que no hubo soldados ni civiles afectados por el atentado.
Al respecto, un portavoz de las FDI dijo: «Hace poco tiempo, se intentó un ataque terrorista contra las fuerzas de reserva de las FDI, mientras las fuerzas realizaban una inspección de rutina cerca de la ciudad de Ramallah en la región de Binyamin«.
«Las fuerzas intentaron hacer contacto y dispararon contra el terrorista, que fue eliminado», agregó.
Las FDI sentenciaron tras el ataque en Ateret: «No hubo heridos entre nuestras fuerzas«.
