Iván Davidovich es un joven de 24 años que nació con parálisis cerebral. No puede caminar y habla a través de un sistema por computadora llamado Tobii que le permite dirigir el teclado a través de su mirada y transmitir la voz. Sin embargo para Iván Davidovich esto no significa un impedimento a la hora de concretar sus sueños. A los dos años no sostenía la cabeza y era casi imposible imaginar que, con el tiempo, se convertiría en abanderado de la ORT.
El mayor deseo de Iván es “ir a un restaurante solo”. Parece simple, pero no lo es. Por eso, lucha todos los días para crear un mundo realmente inclusivo y, al mismo tiempo, lograr una vida más independiente.
“Estoy impulsando mi proyecto para que los espacios públicos y privados tengan sistemas de comunicación alternativa aumentativa”, dice orgulloso en diálogo con Infobae. Según narra, esta iniciativa nació como tesis de la carrera de Diseño multimedial que estudió en la Escuela Da Vinci. Hoy, después de dos años, su proyecto empieza a cobrar vida.
Su sueño no es algo individual. Es que detrás de él hay un sinfín de historias que intentan salir a la luz para exigir un cambio verdadero, sin barreras ni limitaciones a la hora de comunicarse. “Se convirtió en mi deseo para que podamos tener una vida más independiente”, explica.
Su creación ya fue empleada en un reconocido hotel en la localidad bonaerense de Chascomús. “Actualmente, estamos trabajando con Howard Johnson e incorporando estos sistemas. Además, creamos una aplicación con audio descripción, o sea que apretando un botón, la app enuncia con sonido lo que quieras decir para que las personas puedan interactuar con el personal”, comenta orgulloso sobre el trabajo que desarrolló junto a un diseñador que lo ayuda. Tan solo dos personas que le “ponen mucha garra” y que están detrás de un noble proyecto.
“Hay un menú inclusivo -también diseñado por ellos dos- que tiene imágenes ilustrativas de los platos para personas con dificultades de comprensión y, si presionás play, se escucha la descripción por audio”, profundiza sobre otra de las piezas que integran su modelo de comunicación para lograr una experiencia realmente inclusiva.

Sobre el proceso, el joven explica: “Primero se hace un diagnóstico de accesibilidad para ver las áreas donde se van aplicar los sistemas”. “Este proyecto se adapta de acuerdo al espacio”, subraya.
Además, aclara: “Lo más importante son las capacitaciones para su implementación. También brindamos acompañamiento para aprender a usar estos sistemas y capacitar al personal”. Ahora, intenta replicar el mismo logro en diferentes sitios.
Su meta es bien concreta: que nadie quede excluido en ningún ámbito. Y para ello, comenta, es fundamental que existan los sistemas de comunicación accesibles para todos.
“Los sistemas de comunicación alternativa aumentativa (SCAA) son recursos con los cuales podemos expresarnos. Lo que vemos en pantalla son tableros de comunicación, plantillas imprimibles plastificadas que tienen pictogramas: son dibujos que representan acciones, como por ejemplo ‘hola, gracias’. Así, la persona señala las imágenes con las que quiere expresarse y así puede comunicarse con los demás”, amplía sobre el método que emplea para manifestar sus ideas, tal como lo hizo durante la entrevista con este medio.
Es que Iván no puede hablar, pero sí puede comunicarse muy bien y transmitir una sensibilidad que conmueve. El joven utiliza un dispositivo que dirige con sus ojos llamado Tobii Dynavox.
Así, pudo realizar sus estudios y crear una agencia llamada Deuna para “brindar soluciones creativas e inclusivas para diversos ámbitos”.

Con una esperanza arrolladora que se percibe fácilmente, Iván comenta: “Nuestra filosofía es diseñar para todos”. “Quiero que más gente se sume. Emprendimientos, negocios, empresas, el gobierno, cualquier persona que esté interesada en que el espacio sea inclusivo. Quiero contagiar las ganas de dar oportunidades para todos”, invita.
Y concluye: “Como soy joven y creo en los cambios, tengo la esperanza de que pueda generar, desde mi lugar, cada vez más conciencia de que todos merecemos tener nuestra voz. Sé que voy a lograrlo”.
