Matías Slavsky, capitán de Juveniles de Macabi y quien también fue el capitán de la categoría 97-98 en las Macabedas de Israel 2013, habló en exclusiva con MINUTO XT y su experiencia en las Macabeadas Mundiales del año pasado, qué expectativas tiene para el 2014, sus oportunidades con las categorías más grandes y lo que se viene en el futuro.
– ¿Cómo viste al equipo en lo colectivo en el primer partido del torneo? ¿Cómo te sentiste en lo individual?
En tanto a lo colectivo, no jugamos como lo habíamos pensado porque al ser el primer partido después de las vacaciones, y al haber jugadores que nunca habían compartido una cancha, nos costó mas. Pero no es una excusa, nos vamos a ir conociendo más e ir mejorando.
En cuanto a lo individual, me sentí cómodo a pesar de jugar con una formación distinta a la que veníamos jugando siempre, que lleva a tener menos gente en el medio y que me da más libertad para jugar, pero para recuperar hay que correr mucho más.
– Ya que mencionás que jugás con gente nueva, ¿cómo fue ese cambio de jugar en Juveniles?
La verdad que cuesta separarse de las personas con las que venís jugando desde chiquitos, hace muchos años, pero las reglas son así y hay que adaptarse. Tenemos un muy lindo grupo que estoy seguro que va a lograr cosas importantes.
– Sin embargo, seguís jugando con algunos de tus compañeros que viajaron a las Macabeadas de Israel 2013 con vos, ¿lo contás como un plus? ¿Suelen recordar lo vivido?
Son las personas con los que jugué toda mi vida. Siempre suma tener compañeros con los que viviste cosas muy fuertes. Muchas veces nos ponemos a charlar sobre los momentos que pasamos, las alegrías, las tristezas. Es imposible olvidarse de lo vivido en Israel.
– Hablando de las Macabeadas, ¿qué balance hacés sobre eso?
Fue la mejor experiencia que me tocó vivir en 16 años, fue algo impresionante, lo previo, los entrenamientos, juntadas, lo que vivimos ahí y los amigos que te quedan. Deportivamente no nos fue como pensamos, nos queda la espina, pero el fútbol siempre da revancha y nos la va a dar.
– En 2015 son los Panamericanos en Chile, ¿es uno de tus objetivos estar ahí?
A cualquier jugador de Faccma le gustaría estar en experiencias de esa magnitud. El de Brasil me lo perdí por una lesión aunque acompañé al equipo. Pero estoy tranquilo, pienso en salir campeón con Macabi.
– El año pasado salieron campeones en Juveniles, ¿se ponen como meta repetir lo hecho?
Jugar en Macabi siempre te obliga a pelear entre los primeros puestos, tenemos un equipo como para hacerlo y estamos convencidos de que vamos a hacer un buen papel en el torneo.
– ¿Cuales son tus objetivos de acá a un futuro, sabiendo que en la pretemporada tuviste la oportunidad de jugar un amistoso con la Sub 23?
Siempre aspiro a ir por más y no quedarme con lo que tengo, pero por ahora solo pienso en Juveniles y en hacer un buen torneo, tanto en lo colectivo como en lo individual. Si tengo la suerte de que llegue una cancha de más arriba, bienvenido sea.
– Para finalizar, ¿te gustaría probar suerte y, de acá a un determinado tiempo, jugar en algún equipo de AFA o por el momento no está en tu cabeza?
Se me cruzó varias veces, pero no me siento preparado. Es mucho sacrificio y hay que dejar muchas cosas, estoy bien así.
