Una tragedia golpeó la Yeshivá Mir en Jerusalén el martes por la noche, cuando uno de los estudiantes fue encontrado sin vida en el dormitorio de Jerusalén.
Los equipos médicos de emergencia acudieron a la residencia, ubicada en el barrio de Beit Yisrael, y realizaron largos intentos de reanimación. Sin embargo, finalmente se vieron obligados a declarar muerto al joven en el lugar.
El fallecido fue identificado como Shlomo Ari Rivkov, estudiante estadounidense de la Yeshivá Mir. La noticia de su repentino fallecimiento conmocionó a sus numerosos compañeros y amigos, tanto en Israel como en el extranjero.
La policía y los profesionales médicos iniciaron una investigación sobre las circunstancias del trágico incidente.
