El Rabino Daniel Goldman, de la comunidad Bet-El, participó del primer mensaje del Papa Francisco, junto al dirigente islámico Omar Abboud, el sacerdote católico Guillermo Marcó y la budista Rinchen Khandro, que fue difundido en You Tube y que, según le comentó el rabino Goldman a la CADENA JUDÍA DE INFORMACIÓN VIS A VIS, ya pasó el billón de visitas.
El proyecto llamado «El Video del Papa» consiste en que Jorge Bergoglio difunda un mensaje corto cada un mes en diferentes idiomas. La idea es que abarque una gran cantidad de idiomas para que el mensaje sea transmitido para todo el mundo. El primer video que hizo tiene que ver con el diálogo interreligioso, algo que él promovió enfáticamente cuando se encontraba en Argentina y que continúa haciéndolo desde su posición.
«La Red Mundial de Oración del Papa y la empresa de comunicación La Machi convocó al Instituto para el diálogo Interreligioso para hacer uno de sus colaboradores», aseguró el Rabino Daniel Goldman. Y agregó: «Yo estoy sumamente conmovido porque la primera petición del Papa Francisco tiene que ver con el diálogo interreligioso, ya que por un lado demuestra lo genuino que es para el Sumo Pontífice este mensaj,. y por el otro, demuestra la importancia que tiene el diálogo en el orden de prioridades en el mundo»
