Según consigna Haaretz, medios de comunicación norteamericanos informan que se escribieron improperios en un templo de Jabad en Parkland, el pasado sábado.
La persona o las personas responsables también escribieron graffitis que decían «Palestina libre» en el cartel delante de la sinagoga y con spray el número «12», que se utiliza a menudo como un término despectivo para referirse a la policía.
El Rabino Shuey Biston llamó al incidente “un crimen de odio” y dijo que los graffiti fueron escritos para tratar de intimidar a la comunidad judía. «Nuestra respuesta a este tipo de actos es siempre añadir energía positiva y luz y amor».
El alcalde de Parkland Michael Udine dijo que los graffitis con expresiones de odio también se ven en otras partes de la ciudad. La Oficina del Sheriff de Broward está investigando el incidente.
