Dagmar Lieblová, Alexander González y Franck-Yves Bambock. Esta profesora jubilada de Literatura Alemana en Praga ya estuvo en diciembre en la capital oscense, con motivo de una jornada sobre la memoria histórica, junto al último superviviente español del campo de Buchenwald, Vicente García Riestra, y ahora ha vuelto para dar a conocer su biografía.

En la presencia de Lieblová en la ciudad también han tenido que ver los profesores del instituto Pirámide Carlos Pérez y Jesús Inglada, promotores de un proyecto educativo ‘Conocer el holocausto’, que ha permitido acercar a los alumnos a la realidad de los campos de concentración.

El título del libro hace referencia al error que salvó la vida de Lieblová. “Cuando yo estaba en Auschwitz-Birkenau, seleccionaban a los aptos para los trabajos forzados. En el caso de las mujeres, el límite de edad era de los 16 a los 40 años. Yo tenía solo 15 y no cumplía el requisito para trabajar. Pero alguien en la administración del campo escribió mal mi año de nacimiento y en lugar de 1929 puso 1925. Creyeron que tenía 19 años y me seleccionaron para hacer trabajos forzosos. Esto me salvó la vida porque los que no tenían la edad adecuada para trabajar terminaron en la cámara de gas, incluidos mis padres y mi hermana menor”, ha contado.

No fue la única casualidad que le salvó la vida.
