Como ya les adelantábamos en Febrero, tus iPhones son cada vez mas “Made in Israel”. Y el nuevo iPhone X sigue por este camino.
Sin duda estas son muy malas noticias para nuestros amigos ávidos de boicotear a Israel y sus productos. Lo cierto es que como ya les contamos en Febrero pasado, Apple se compraba una startup de nombre Realface, que ha dado a desembocar en lo que hoy Apple llama “face recognition”
Creada en 2014 por Adi Eckhouse Barzilai y Aviv Mader, Realface, RealFace es (o era) una innovadora startup, que mejoraba la forma en que las personas son reconocidas por dispositivos, creando un reconocimiento facial dinámico. El software de la compañía practica reconocimiento de rostros en tiempo real, verificando usuarios en móviles y PC de forma fácil y segura.
Recordamos que RealFace comenzó su historia como Pickeez, una divertida e innovadora app para ordenar y disfrutar de las fotos almacenadas en el celular.
El iPhone X también cuenta con el chip A11 Bionic, que segu Apple es “el chip más potente y más inteligente jamás en un teléfono inteligente”. Ademas de Face ID, aplicaciones de realidad aumentada y Animojis que se animan con tecnología de seguimiento facial. Podemos decir que en casi todas las innovaciones de Apple podemos “oler” que el equipo de I+D en Israel ha puesto su mano, pero solo respecto a lo anterior tenemos evidencias claras.
Apple es muy misterioso y maneja con gran secretismo todos los detalles sobre sus desarrollos y adquisiciones al punto que sus que sus diversos equipos en Israel trabajan por separado, sin saber en qué están trabajando los otros equipos, y la información se comparte en una base de necesidades especificas.
También se sabe que parte del desarrollo de hardware de los nuevos teléfonos se hizo en Israel, pero estamos aun lejos de poder dar mas detalles.
De todos modos algo si es seguro, tu nuevo iPhone es cada vez mas israelí!
