Tal como lo anticipó la Cadena Judía de Información Vis a Vis, la misión diplomática palestina en Colombia publicó en sus redes sociales una frase de Yasser Arafat que instaba a la eliminación de Israel a traves de la guerra y no de la paz.
Esto trajo una gran repercusión en todo el mundo y fundamentalmente en Israel. El primer ministro, Benjamín Netanyahu, condenó el mensaje de la misión diplomática palestina en Colombia.
“Si alguien quiere saber por qué insistimos en exigir condiciones fundamentales a los palestinos, como que reconozcan a Israel como el Estado-nación del pueblo judío, como renunciar al llamado derecho al retorno y el desmantelamiento de las organizaciones terroristas, este tuit de la misión palestina en Colombia es el mejor testimonio”, publicó el mandatario israelí en su cuenta de Facebook.
A su comentario seguía un pantallazo del mensaje de Twitter de la legación diplomática (desde una cuenta no verificada de la red social), que ya no está en la cuenta de la legación en Bogotá.
“El fin de Israel es el objetivo de nuestra lucha, y no tiene en cuenta concesión ni mediación… No queremos paz, queremos guerra, victoria. Yasser Arafat”, decía el mensaje, según muestra la imagen difundida por Netanyahu.
Si bien la frase ya no aparece en la cuenta de la misión palestina en Colombia, ahora hay otro, también con una frase del fallecido presidente y líder del nacionalismo palestino, Arafat, en el que este señala: “El desafío más importante para nosotros es crear una nueva Autoridad Palestina que llevará a un nuevo estado independiente, un nuevo estado democrático”.
La embajada de Israel en Colombia también expresó su repudio al primer mensaje de Twitter en un vídeo en el que el embajador Marco Sermoneta dijo: “Israel sigue llamando a la paz, a la reconciliación, al compromiso, pero ellos siguen diciendo ‘ni concesión ni mediación’”.
“Ese Twitter refleja más que cualquier comentario hecho en cualquier idioma la verdadera posición, los verdaderos objetivos de los palestinos”, señaló el embajador.
Netanyahu se refirió al pacto alcanzado entre las organizaciones palestinas Fatah y Hamás, y condicionó las negociaciones de paz a un rechazo a la violencia y el reconocimiento de Israel, entre otras cuestiones, por parte de grupo terrorista islámico. EFE y Aurora
