Hamza Bin Laden, hijo del fallecido líder de Al Qaeda, Osama Bin Laden, ha contraído matrimonio con la hija de Mohamed Atta, el principal secuestrador de los ataques terroristas del 11 de septiembre.
La unión fue confirmada por dos hermanastros del fallecido líder terrorista, Ahmad y Hassan al Attas. Según tiene entendido la familia, Hamza había ocupado un alto cargo dentro de Al Qaeda y pretendía vengar la muerte de su padre, muerto a tiros durante un ataque militar estadounidense en Pakistán.
«Hemos escuchado que se ha casado con la hija de Mohamed Atta», ha declarado Ahmad al Attas. «No estamos seguros de dónde está, pero podría ser Afganistán», ha añadido.
Atta fue el piloto del vuelo 11 de American Airlines, que impactó en la Torre Norte del World Trade Center como parte de los atentados a las 8:46.
Hamza Bin Laden es el hijo de una de las tres esposas sobrevivientes de Osama bin Laden, Jairia Sabar, que vivía con su marido en un complejo en Abbottabad, cerca de una gran base militar paquistaní, cuando fue asesinado.
