Mahmoud Abbas, presidente de
Palestina, rechazó un boicot en contra de Israel, hecho que molestó a los
líderes del Boicot, Desinversiones y Sanciones (BDS): “No, no apoyamos el boicot
a Israel”, declaró Abbas.
De todas formas, el presidente
palestino pidió que se boicoteara a los productos de los asentamientos, ya que

sentenció.

El político y líder militante palestino,
Marwan Barghouti, afirmó que Abbas no hablaba en representación de la gente de
Palestina, debido a que “aquel funcionario que carece de un mandato democrático
y cualquier apoyo público real, no puede pretender hablar en nombre del pueblo a
la hora de decidir nuestras estrategias de resistencia al régmen de ocupación,
colonización y apartheid de Israel”.
